Into the Abyss

So- whoever is out there is Lap-Band space, I have hit an all-time low I think! I have been banded a little over a year and have lost a little over 100 pounds! However, my personal life- well no longer exists. I was engaged- and I am in the process of moving out because, well that didnt turn out as planned. I am getting the attention I used to when I was thinner- however not from the people I want to. I feel like I cant please myself bc I have been on a very slow moving decline in weight over the past few months. I feel like I am so close to being done that now its not going to happen and with everything else personally- I am starting to feel hopeless- like no one else understands me! Any ideas?

Hang in there, Love! We all go through down times, just remember life keeps moving, with or without us, so if you need some time for yourself - take it, the world will still be there when you are done and maybe something worthwhile will be going on! I personally like any excuse for a spa treatment, I know that sounds shallow but it's nice to have someone else take care of you some times!

Congrats on the 100 lb loss! That is awesome.

Sorry things didn't work out with the engagement. But something better for you is out there and will happen. Just have patience. Do like lilith said, take some me time to figure things out and relax. The world will still be there. Recoup, regroup, rethink. When you are almost near goal your body slows way down. You will eventually get there, or rethink your goal. Sometimes our body has a different idea of where it wants to be at. If it is within a few lbs, you might need to say I am ok with this and I am now at my new goal. Say I love myself everyday into a mirror. It may sound silly but it really does help after a couple of weeks. Say it with conviction and a smile at yourself.

Good luck with your future hon.

just peachy
