eso0402 got a reaction from sassysleever76 in DIET AFTER THREE MONTHS POST OP
Hello ladies and gentlemen its been three months post op a lil less and I am allowed to eat everything however I cannot seem to want to eat anything without some sort of sauce in it, is this happening to anyone? Please let me know ideas or recipes. I tried all kind of stews, Soups and casseroles. I am super lactose intolerant now and not sure lactose pills work

77 pounds lost so far ♥

You ask for help in your first post. You ignore @Orchids&Dragons suggestion to donate them, and now you are defending your choice. You posted asking about buying dates, and then despite most advice, you bought them anyway. And then there were your Irish coffees, and that's just what you have posted about.
Some people can have success despite not following a traditional plan. But since you also posted you have lost 23 lbs in 3 months and you regret your surgery, it doesn't sound like you're one of them.
Instead of posting your poor choices and then defending them, why not use the resources of this board to get on track and actually have a successful WLS outcome?

Thanks Crissyt! I worry about this all the time. I feel like Cinderella, once the clock hits midnight, (eg a year is up) the magic will be gone! No more weight loss!
I’m really hoping it’s still possible. We larger ladies can have lots more to lose. It’s not possible to lose it in 6 months like people with lower starting weights.

Hi Ladies! I think I’m a little further out than most of you but I wanted to share in case I can give anyone else hope. I’m nearly one year out from surgery and I’ve lost 70kg (154pounds) since then (no pre op program as I’m Australian). I started at 156 (343pounds) and I’m now 85kg (188pounds).
Today I feel like a million bucks!

Weird, vivid dreams that I remember when I wake up. The first week post-op they were about high fat, high carb, hi-calorie foods I was eating in the dream. Woke up anxious, thinking I screwed up, lol!!! Next came a few weeks of random celebrity interactions. I've hung out with Tom Brady and Giselle, Vince Vaughn, Prince. Dreamed I was breaking out of prison, too. I'm not even going to comment.

I was out at the tanning salon (incisions covered) and running normal errands by day 4 post-op. No surgical pain from the moment I woke up in recovery. Only needed pain meds because surgical positioning tweaked an old back injury. Oh, gosh...just realized that sounded like I was trying to one-up you.  Not my intention!

My skin was super super dry as well, but I use Bio Oil and I seriously cannot say enough about how it’s helped. It’s changed my skin for the better and I won’t use another product.

I am in day five post up, also having very weird dreams. I have had absolutely no problems with post surgery other than dry skin, I only sleep about 3 hours and the sleep is full of odd dreams.

I had the dry skin but that went away after month 2 post op thank God. I have the weirdest food cravings. Toasted bread, pickles, shrimp with cocktail sauce... completely random.

hair is growing like crazy. Not hair on top of my head...but everywhere else. I have PCOS so I think it’s my hormones going bonkers but I am literally plucking my eyebrows every other day versus the every 3-4 days I was use to. Armpits, legs and even facial (chin/upper lip) is coming in like a champ lol!
My wax lady was like, “wow you’re coming in more often now.” 😩

Hi Mandy, I would say the others are correct and hopefully by now you are seeing results. The healing process is a big part of those 1st 4-6 weeks. I am having a stall at 9 weeks presently as well, but I am told that once I go to my next food phase I will see results again. I will say I am comfortable at my current weight.

That’s crazy! My total cost of surgery including anesthesia, medical supplies, dietician, room for 3 days, surgery, supplements and shakes for the first month was €4,000! No insurance or anything. Praise Europe!
