  1. You might have been able to guess that I was eating a handful of roasted pecans (Love my air fryer) when I posted that ?

Pull it off? Woman, you are killing it!
  3. Why don't you cook the crust for a little while? It seems like that would amp up the flavor of the roasted nuts.
  4. Found a treasure trove!
  5. Thanksgiving is easy for me, always was. I don't like most of the "naughty" foods. Halloween and Christmas were my danger zones.
  6. My lack of gallbladder doesn't seem to bother about me with anything (shrug)
  7. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Gonna try it this weekend.
  8. Recipe, please! please! please!
  9. 18th - I'm most grateful for my sense of humor. It would be awfully hard to go through life without one!
  10. Almost all of the foods you are eating at this stage are "slider" foods. They slide right through your pouch and don't cause restriction. This is appropriate at this stage. Once you move on to solid foods you will definitely feel the restriction. For now, eat the portion sizes recommended by your surgical team to keep your protein/calories where they need to be. Sounds like you're doing great!
  11. An ultrasound is the best way to diagnose gallstones, but an MRI should have shown them as well if that were the cause of your pain. I hope they find an answer for you soon.
  12. I assume they've ruled out gall bladder?
  13. The band I'm most grateful for - the high school's marching band! My kids learned so much about teamwork and hard work and setting goals. We have an amazing band director. He's so personable. The kids love him and he gets the best out of them. Every one of my kids got to compete at the state level and those are memories they'll have their entire lives.
  14. Welcome to the site! This is a very friendly and supportive community. My advice is to be on the lookout for people who have surgery the same time (roughly) as you. It's wonderful to go through the process with buddies going through the same thing at the same time. Wising you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!
  15. #15 - Body part I'm most grateful for - My uterus (which I no longer have) because it blessed me with 4 wonderful children.
  16. I hate shopping. There is no amount of money I would save that would make Black Friday worthwhile! (online is a different story, of course)
  17. 14th - rejection. I think I'm thankful for all of them. I'm in a good place right now and probably wouldn't be here if I'd followed a different path. It's possible I'd be in a better place but it's also possible I'd be far worse off.
  18. Thank you for sharing! You're correct that many people who had relatively easy surgeries/results don't come to the forums and share their stories so the boards are disproportionately negative.
  19. #13 - Even though Autumn is my favorite, I am most grateful for Spring, the time of birth, growth and renewal. Mirror question - actually, my hair was much better in middle school. I think I have finally stopped losing my hair (again) from an illness that I had in April.

Maybe once your boobs are bigger, he won't notice your waistband ?
