  1. How about humming? Sat next to one of those, remember more of that then the presentation I paid good money to see!
  2. Well Welcome to Kangaroo- Land ! We Bypassers are that animal for we all have a pouch now. Oh it takes a while to learn what yours will and will not accept. I am almost 5 months out, and my pouch , which I call Precious Pouch, is still teaching me things. But never would I go back to before, it's a steady forward march, there may be chaos behind me, I may be in a rough patch now, but at the final victory I will have something to celebrate! Life is a marathon, not a short sprint, more like a cross- country with hills, valleys, hairpin curves, bridges to cross but like a little? jalopy I keep chug-a-chugging along, trying not to miss any scenery for I may not travel this way again ever. And if I see you in the other lane as we go along I will be sure to wave!?✋?
  3. Found him, his pen name is @ Jonathan C, I'm putting the @ on in the hopes it will trigger him to get in touch and I'm sure there are more out here! Good Luck and may your revision work well!
  4. There is a new guy just joining from Northern California looking for someone to help him on his journey, perhaps he'll see your posting and get in touch. I may go back,a re-read and see if I can find him.
  5. We are all different, we react differently to our challenges, it does not benefit to copy from another as we each have our own list of ? 20 questions to fulfill . And each of us will win our own final victory ?and that makes it even sweeter to consider.
  6. Less than a month to tie up loose ends, less than a month to wait for something that profoundly changes your life, you will meet this challenge and your labor will. not be in vain for you are engaged in the job of rebuilding yourself and it's a project only You can do.Go forward believing in yourself, a smile on your face and hope in your heart of hearts. And you will be blessed.
  7. When they have never done this they have no point of reference. Its Your Path, Your struggle and Yours will be the final victory.
  8. Overcoming my barriers myself, for myself by myself and discovering the only real barriers are the ones I built up myself. I will be the success no one thought I could be! So my January challenge is to learn what works in this world for me!
  9. And I can't sleep tonight,, too much,on my mind. When will I learn the entire world doesn't need me solving their problems? Oh maybe I'll hang things up mentally for the night after all!
  10. 5 months on the 5th of February and I'll never regret it, no matter the bumps in my journey. Life still better than it was before September 5th, 2018 my Wonder Wednesday, my Surgical re-born. Thank you Dr Needleman for believing in me, now it is up to me. to use everything I have to win the Weight Wars, and I am proud of ME already as I meet each challenge along the way.
  11. And I hope now you will have a good healing, that sure sounds like it was very scary.
  12. So Samantha do you have a tenative date yet? Sounds like things are falling into place for you.
  13. And I hope everything works out well for you!
  14. Well ,Congratulations to you, I know you have been waiting on pins and needles, Now you can set your plans into gear, you have your target!
  15. Hmmmm Lemon water? Sure worth a try!
  16. A fluid filled pillow to sit on? Maybe a thick piece of Memory Foam, I will probably be dragging something with me. like a toddler with his security blanket, move over Jimmy Jack, Grandma needs to go somewhere.
  17. I used to like pickled onions and cauliflower, my grandma made on with different garden vegetables in it, the base was sweet like bread and butter pickles, suppose you could fill them but I don't think they would be as good.
  18. Funny how insurances vary in their outlook, some are easy to work with, others deny everything they possibly can. And some you have to stifle the urge to strangle each and every one of them!?or?
  19. Oh Missouri-Lee's Summit, you are one great researcher, I enjoy your posts because they are unfailingly well-thought out.
  20. So @Nclmmcdaniels, did you have your revision and how are you doing now?
  21. Many on here have and I'm sure you can too. You may have to fight a battle more than once to win the war. But it can be done, go and consult with your bariatric surgeon, he or she will help you search your options.
  22. I am sitting here sipping my strawberry kiwi Propel from a glass 2 oz shotglass, this is my favorite of all the different ones. Had to but a multipack of 18 just to get it, somebody else is going to Wal-Mart and taking the 12 count s.k. off the shelf before I can get there. Wish they would drink an other one and leave my taste treat alone!?I cannot abide pee-warm temperature plain water, never really could. Make it hot in decaf tea, make it iced and I'll drop some Mio, Crystal light or a mint leaf or two, prefer spearmint over peppermint, or another herb and let it infuse a little.
  23. Not so much misery loves company as a burden shared feels half as heavy. Its nice to have bari-friends who understand.
  24. Don't regain, smile, believe in yourself, maintain and sustain. Life is a funny old thing after all!
  25. Nothing to take lightly, you don't want to get sicker, I would go back, sometimes you have to fight for yourself when someone says it's minor. Sing them an aria , make them listen to you!
