It’s the best I’ve found so far! I think I’ve tried 7-8 different kinds since surgery!

I love 1st Phorm’s natural line. It’s thin, you can mix it with Water, and it’s easy to drink. I have the strawberry one.

I know I still have a while to go but I just wanted to share my progress so far after a little more then a year in after getting sleeved. I thank god every day for the second chance he gave me! I won’t mess up this time! Never in a million years did I would be able to lose 365 lbs EVER let alone in a little more then a year LOL!!

I'M OFFICIALLY AT MY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION WEIGHT!!! Met my personal goal!

Hard to fathom almost a year ago, 3/13, I was in the hospital with BP 250/150+ on a bipap machine and as unhealthy as ever. And here I am today, on no major medications and 140 pounds healthier!
The decision to have surgery changed my life for the better. No regrets...living instead of existing. It doesn't get any better than that!

nuhtoshuhh got a reaction from Renee80 in When does the hunger return?
I’m about three weeks post op now and I’m just now starting to actually feel hungry. It’s not like this overwhelming hunger like it was before but it’s there. I think now that I’m back at work and working 8 hours mostly on my feet that my body is craving food to keep me energized and going!

nuhtoshuhh reacted to Dimitris Argyropoulos in Reached my first milestone today!
I weighted 330 lbs on surgery day (October 2nd 2017), and after some complications with GERD, 3 months later I weight in 258, which was my weight in the first grade of junior high school 6 years ago AND my first milestone!
I also found out that i turn into an adrenaline monster when playing basketball which was the first time i played after 6 years!!!

I haven't been happier in my entire life and finally got the chance to get back into basketball after all this time, but this isn't the end and i have a long way to go still. And i am not going to stop. I just wanted to share my experience and progress, in an effort to encourage others as well if possible!
Lastly i want to thank everyone on this forum for helping and encouraging ME until now!

Immediately post op I struggled so much getting liquids down. I mean 20-30oz felt like an accomplishment the first few days. I’m at roughly 60oz now and I am 9 days post op. I’ve found it gets easier the further along you are.

For me, the biggest struggle is just being constantly aware of where my water bottle is and having it open in front of me so I remember to sip from it. I was forgetting to drink!

nuhtoshuhh got a reaction from Acts238girl in Just had surgery yesterday...harder than I thought
I also had my surgery yesterday. I woke up in a small amount of pain and a bit nauseous. They addressed it immediately and then moved me to my room.

It took me about three hours before I was able to get up to pee/walk around. I walked a few times yesterday and today before being released. I think a total of 6 times in the hospital.

I am now more sore than anything. I also am having gas pains since I had my surgery laparoscopically— these hurt more than the actually soreness, in my opinion.

Good luck! It can only get better from here!

Hi all, quick update, I am close to my 10th month post-op.

I was VSG’d 03/10/17, HW: 405, SW: 385, CW: 230. My goal weight is 190.. It is very hard to shed last 40 lbs, it seems to be attached to my body LOL.. I am very thankful to this process; it is definitely a great tool. However, it is 50/50 we need to engage the other 50% and battle every day with our old bad habits. I am satisfied with my weight loss, but really wanted to lose more weight by now, I hit stalls 3 times, and they last for weeks.. I don’t even look at the scale, now is my enemy (LOL) , instead I rely on clothing and noticed I am losing size… I increased my workouts the last 4 months, I do 4-5 times a week (1.5-2 hrs), I split weight training and HIIT. Now I am working really hard on core workouts.. I hope I can meet my goal by March 1st,
PS: pardon quality of photos.. as header says (quick update)
haring this few photos for now… Will post more in March and I hope I can see a difference. You always friend Carlos….
