  5. Oh I feel amazing! I don’t really feel lighter, but I do notice my range of motion is a lot better and I have a lot more energy and stamina!
  6. Sorry I haven’t been on in awhile. I’m finally on regular food again and my doctor released me to go back to the gym. SO, Iv pretty much been living at the gym everyday! Since the start of my pre-op diet and then surgery...Iv lost 85 pounds so far! How is everyone doing?

  10. I’m down 75 pounds so far since the start of my pre-op diet.
  11. I’m going good! Been going to the gym everyday and walking in the swimming pool for exercise. I’m having a hard time getting my protein in though. I’m so sick of powder / Milk-based protein! So Iv been buying the Isopure Juice. But it’s $45 for a case.
  12. Do those cookies taste pretty good? I’m assuming so if your still buying them...Lol

  14. I always compare what I’m buying now to what I WAS spending on food! It’s still cheaper now even though it seems like what we’re buying costs a lot more!
  15. I also use the Isopure Unflavored powder! I put it in my soups!
  16. I’m on full liquids now. I was only on clear liquids for one day after surgery. All I’ve been eating/drinking is protein shakes, tomato soup, broccoli cheese soup that I blend up, apple sauce....and that’s it! Oh and lots of water!

  18. I don’t ever seem to be really hungry at all. But your right, everything inside of us is still healing! I can’t wait to get to soft foods. This liquid diet is just so boring.
  19. Awesome! Thanks for the info! What snacks do you get?
  20. I know I’m Post-Op now, but I seem to get more info from everyone in this group. So I’m on my 5th day post-op. All I can eat is liquids till the 30th when I meet with my doc again and he hopefully moves me to more solid food. I was looking into the Soups on the Bariatric Pals Store. Has anyone tried any of them and if so, are any of them good?
  21. I feel the same! I can’t tell if I’m hungry and I can’t tell if I’m full! I smell food and I see food l that I used to love, so if course I want it...but am I hungry? Is my stomach hungry or is my brain hungry? It sucks! Then when I do drink my soup (cause all I can have right now is liquids) I can’t tell if I’m full or not. I’m just blah. Then I sit there and worry, did eat/drink too much??
