Might be even less because the area where most gastric ulcers/cancers start is now gone. Yeah it's not impossible for it to be in the top portion, just unlikely.

And I've been widowed 5 1/2 years, I hope it isn't like all the guys told me " If you don't use it You lose it" want something in reserve in case Mr Wonderful comes along. Don't want Mr Barely Breathing, Mr What did you say, Honey? or Mr Just turn the electric blanket,on to medium. Want one that can generate his own heat.

Well today is the last day of February and I want to thank,each and everyone for allowing me to hear your stories, share in your success and empathizine with your trials. Today still will be surgery day for a few of you. I know over on the sleeve side SleevedSoulSista is having hers,today. Thank you for making me feel one of your own, even if my tummy is still unbypassed. Perhaps March ,Perhaps April. I have 2 introductory seminars to attend, one on March,9th, one on March 10th. I am certain one will fit me me better. When you have been back-stabbed or lied to, it is difficult to step forward,with full trust. But my God didn't make no junk, I am a good person worthy of the surgery I so earnestly desire. I am a katlady, I will land on all 4 paws and go forward. Look for me around on one of the other month forums, I intend to be a Bariatric Paller until it's finished. Love and Hugs your kakatlady612. [emoji197]

Your partner should be proud and support you in this and I believe when she sees how much you are committed to doing this for your health and family she'll get,on board. I'm 72, don't stay heavy as long as I did. It takes a terrible toll on your body. You say your parents are pushing you, couldn't you also believe they are trying an intervention? Your mother doesn't want her baby to suffer with this weight, she's saying learn before it's too late. I buried a son at 31, not from weight, something totally different, but it is one of the hardest things in life to stand next to your child's grave and wonder if you could have done something different that could have saved them. Honey, she DOES NOT want you to DIE! Please have the surgery and live for yourself as well as them, Shoot I'm crying as I write this. Your life will be much better, you'll be healthier and most important you'll be alive. Please for all of us, I want to watch you succeed in your journey, cause I beleve in you and I know you CAN do it.

FYI folks I live pretty close to where White Castle was founded, Columbus Ohio. The first restaurants were white metal buildings with fake turrents on all 4 corners, the original store was at Dodridge and N High st.,was there for years and years but alas fell a victim of urban renewal and was razed a few years ago. Wendy's, another hamburger chain started a few miles away in Dublin Ohio. Oh folks I'm a fount of useless knowledge, aren't I? I told a friend recently " now that we have lived forever and know it all, it is our duty to educate the younger generations" now I'm looking for a suitable group to entertain, problem they don't accept it any better than I did at their age. Ah I'm not making any money at this prophecy business,think maybe I'll keep my,little mouth shut.

You're gonna do just fine day after tomorrow. Rest and be calm tonight. When it's time, lie peacefully and go to sleep, when you wake you may be sore maybe not. One person said it just felt like they had done,2000 situps. I personally don't think,its gonna be worse than afterpains when you've just had a baby. I'll let you know what I felt when mine comes, but of course after Thursday you'll know yourself and you'll tell me. I had pancreatitis in 2015, ain't nothing can touch that pain. When they got,me up to walk a hour after knee replacement, it didn't hold a candle to that. You're going to do the traditional walk walk walk and sip sip sip and soon you'll be back,home and starting on a new healthier and fitter life. And I'm so excited for,you. God Bless.

If I don't have my surgery soon there will be enough of me to divide. I'm 5ft8in, red-headed and.now 320lb. My dream is to be 170 lbs and /or a 15/16. a long way down from a 3X but by golly I'm going to do it!

Guess what, I'm a trifle sick and congested, went to PCP yesterday, he told me to take a temporary CPAP holiday as it was aggravating my sinuses temporarily. I could not sleep, finally drifted off at 4AM back up at 6:30 to tinkle. So I spent most most of the night on my tablet or lurking and texting on Bariatric Pal.

Junuu. Honey I'm 72 years old, 323lbs and still anxious to have my surgery completed. A little nervousness is fine, you wouldn't be human if you didn't feel that way facing the unknown. How can I help you feel better? What part of it all are you most worried about? I haven't had this one, but I've had several surgeries and c encountered many things in my life. I'd like to think I'm a pretty wise person, so if I can help just ask okay?

I agree with Tealael. You are a caring person in a very caring profession. I was a STNA for 20+ years, very nearly became a LPN. Take some time to take care of you first. You yourself are very important also.

I just saw them I never picked up them up to read the label, but since I'm a reforming foodaholic I'd better. Weird I really don't crave sweet things anymore, well in a way it's good but a lot of things seemed to change in me when the gastritis hit. About as sweet as I want to go willingly? A banana, even waterpacked canned fruit can seem sweet. Maybe my tummy is in training for Post surg?
