If anyone who got sleeved in Dec 2017 met their weight loss goal, their final one, I will cry and sob for a week

I've only lost about 54 pounds (including preop diet) lol
I have about 120-130 pounds to go, but I will get there, or die trying lol

Hello everyone. I am new to the group. I just recently just found out about this group. This is my 1st post. 6 months has flown by. I am extremely nervous. Right now I am on my way to the hospital. The key is to stay positive step by step little by little. I mean I'm new at this too but I'm doing my best to stay positive. I was sore for a couple of days but I'm getting better. It will get better for you too. Blessings

I hope it all went well for you!! I know it’s hard at first but things only get better from here! Like others said walk walk and walk some more. It will help you get stronger and heal.

Good luck and prayers for you today! I definitely understand your nerves. I'm scheduled next week. I'm fairly new to the site too, and everything I have read from everyone so far has been supportive. We will be hear for you post-op.

Congratualions so excited for you I just had my surgery 9 days ago.I was just as nervous as you are but I just prayed and left it in God's hands. Okay first off take lots of deep breaths tomorrow you're going to be super nervous. That surgery is going to be over before you know it when you wake up you're going to feel like s*** but you're going to also get lots of pain meds so most of the pain you're going to be feeling is going to be from surgical gas there's really nothing you can do but walk so get up and walk and try to walk as often as you can when you're going through the first two nights I would say you're not going to feel well and during that time keep in the back of your mind that by the time you get to day 5 day 6 you feel pretty much normal again besides being a little sore

Hi everyone! I was sleeved on 10/10 and I just hit about 7 weeks out. The picture on the left was me the day before my two week pre-op diet and the right was at my 7 week mark. I feel incredible. I have more energy, my chronic pain is virtually gone and I am no longer pre-diabetic. I have no regrets about this surgery. I had a really rough time in the beginning but it got so much better after the first month. I was stuck in a two week stall but the scale is finally moving. I took measurements through the process and I strongly encourage others to, because after awhile the scale will not be your friend lol. I just wanted to post some encouragement this morning for someone maybe considering the surgery or maybe about to have it. It will be the best decision of your life!

Today starts my log after my surgery on Monday November 27th I'm a little bit scared and worried
because I'm having acid reflux problems really bad .this is my picture before my late weight loss and I'm going to do my darndest to change my lifestyle .I know there will be ups and downs. but, this is my first entry to the beginning my life over I am a mother of two older children I have no grandchildren my kids are out of the house .I am a single woman I'm doing this for me because I deserve to make me better and healthier. here's to the beginning of my new life
