Wow! Congrats on such fast results! You have me beat easily. I’m happy to hear you actually eat! Seems like everyone is super strict and doesn’t eat anything off “plan”... I try to live. Especially if we’re losing this fast- why not eat , if it’s working.

I also eat 1000-1200 calories a day. I'm down 95lbs in 4 months. I also eat carbs, from fruits, veggies, and whole grains. I advise to up your calories for a week and see if it makes a difference. I highly doubt you will gain, so if not, its just another week stalled.

Eat more. A lot more if you can... I seem to be a very unique case... down 100 in 8 months with no stalls.. I might stall a week or two but still lose some.. then a big drop.. I don’t workout too much either... walk 45-1 hour few days a week. I eat 1000-1300 cals too. Plenty of carbs... so I guess I cannot advise? I just say make sure you poop and drink lots of Water. That helps me

I experienced the same thing. I think my body went into shock post op. I had a good 6 week stall which was horrible, and felt like I totally wasted my money on this, but then....... the weight started falling off like crazy. Just stick with it, your body will catch up when its ready.

    Breathe.
Why are you getting WLS? You don't have to answer here, just think about that.
Is food more important than why you decided to undergo WLS?
I fully understand your mindset. I grew up with a large Italian family. Food was EVERYTHING! I was also very scared about giving up all my go-to's and favorites. And it wasn't easy either. But guess what. I don't miss most of them. I've found ways around things, better options that get me close enough to that food that I don't miss it.

And not everyone is the same with food and dumping. I ate a whole piece of pizza and was fine. I felt run down and gross, but I wasn't sick. I've eaten fried raviolis, same deal, outside of feeling like junk, I was fine. I have had issues with things I didn't think I would, like Tomato Soup. And had ZERO issues at all with things I never thought would be fine, like Hersey's Kisses.
I can say, without a single shadow of a doubt, that I do not regret having the surgery. I thought I might for a bit, while going through stalls and smelling my kids toasting bread or cooking pizza... but, I got over it. I actually have some toast on occasion, I just go for the highest grain count I can. It costs more, but you eat SO much less that it almost balances out.
Side effect of me eating better, so does my family now. And they are all becoming healthier people as well.
Just focus on what you CAN do rather than what you CAN'T do. You'll have plenty of time to figure out your new stomach after you've been cleared to experiment.
Always remember your "Why's". It's just food. You have power of it, not the other way around.
    You got this!

I think the wellbutrin side effects have been misread, one of the most common side effects of wellbutrin is not an increased sex drive, it's listed as "Loss of interest in sex".

Pure food grade coconut oil should be right around the same level of pH as what the vagina should be (I know some can test towards the neutral level of pH, but neutral is just that, neutral). Clearly everyone is going to be different, but I've heard from quite a lot of folks that have never had a single issue with using food grade coconut oil.

I managed several very high grossing adult stores on the East Coast for a number of years. I've been exposed to quite a lot. Waterbased actually doesn't get as slippery as oil based or silicon based because your body absorbs Water rather quickly. I don't recommend oil based to anyone using protection as oil breaks down latex and other rubbers, and you have to be careful with silicon based because it will eat certain products (typically the softer toys/etc) The wife and I have used coconut oil for almost 10 years now, not a single issue or concern reported from any doctors. Obviously each person is different, but it's a 100% natural, pure food grade item... it's easy to find anywhere (you can to go the town supermarket to get it!) and it's fairly cheap.

Hmmm! Well I hate the added sensation ones. They definitely don’t feel good for me... basic is the way to go... Water based usually. But they can get super slippery.. lol. Coconut oil huh?? Okay.. are you knowledgeable? Thanks nobody is usually willing to have the awkward convos. I appreciate it. Honestly I’m not stressing it. There’s more to life than sex.

I actually haven’t tried lube yet- and plan on it- but yeah it does make sense to lose some sensation after losing so much fat .. but I did make an apt for some hormone tests to see if anything different is going on. I was extremely easy to please before- and now - nothing at all. So I’m puzzled. Would suck to have lost all sensation forever. Lol! Thanks for your input.

I agree. I am often weird about being too personal because I’ve seen really mean posts and comments. Lots comes with WLS.. it’s insane. Thanks hun

I'm glad this is a safe place to discuss these things because there is so much that comes from having WLS and its good to have a sounding board. I hope things improve for you soon!

Wow! I first off love your blunt and honest opinion.. Yes, My region is absolutely leaner and it was also “fat” before.. however we have tried all positions.. foreplay... etc.. and nothing. But yeah- sex when you’re fat feels a million times better.. probably the hormones and fat differences... hoping I can find an answer to this one day.. cus it really sucks. Thanks again for your thoughts. I didn’t consider that..

So I haven’t even had this surgery yet and I’m already isolating my self from triggers of family, friends etc. I am seriously feeling like this is the best way for now because either people are super insensitive or they just don’t realize the words that come out their mouths. So until I’m good and ready I am MIA.... rant rave over and out

Did anyone else have vajayjay changes since surgery? I’ve always been a big Water drinker which now isn’t so much but also feel like I’m having the beginnings of yeast infection or something just super dry feeling. If this makes any sense at all.

Right after surgery my whole body was drier - skin, hair, nails, etc because of not getting enough liquids, and not getting much nutrition - fats, calories, micronutrients from fruits and vegetables. And depending on your age and hormones, there are lots of changes going on and it's a crap shoot trying to figure out reactions and what is causing them. For me presently at 5 months postop, and over a decade post menopause the 'old gal' is a little less dry than before surgery but she isn't 18 any more either lol.

I’m in a stall right now. I’ve had 3 of them and my first was just after week two of surgery. Just think logically. You are eating way fewer calories. The weight will eventually come off.

I stalled for about three weeks. At first I didn’t care much because I’ve been told and from reading different post here, that there will be stalls. But, I’m happy to report that after five days of eating leaner and four consecutive days at the gym ...I got that scale moving again & was down four lbs this morning!
