  3. I think we just have to remember that everybody's journey will be different. Some people will lose quicker than others, some people stay stalled longer than others. Just keep up the good work and when your body is ready it will start losing again. Sleeved 9/25 Starting Weight 261 Surgery Weight 241 3 Weeks postop 224

  5. Congratulations on your wls, walking is the best exercise you can do, my doc doesn't release me for full exercise until I'm 6 weeks post op.As far as loose skin goes I agree with the other poster, it's just one of those wait and see things. 6. I was sleeved 9/25, and it is definitely rough the first week or so, but trust me it will get better. Did the doctor prescribe something for the reflux , I didn't have reflux before but I have it now and I take prilosec once a day before and it helps Starting Weight 261 Surgery Weight 241 3 Weeks postop 229
  7. I was sleeved 9/25. I had no issues with gerd prior to surgery, but when I tell you it is in full effect. It has nothing to do with what you eat. I get flare ups at random times. The worst is when your sleeping and wake up and your chest and throat are burning and you can barely swallow. I called my doc and they told me to take my prilosec at night and see if that helps. So I guess we will see. Hopefully this doesn't last forever.. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I had my surgery on 9/25. I think you will be fine, I am allowed to have herbal tea. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Not ignorant at all, children are a blessing. I guess you probably would have 10 kids if you didn't go to the clinic. For you to be so shallow to just blurt out abortion is ridiculous. I'm done with this. I said what I had to say. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. That is so freaking rude, how dare you fix your mouth to say such a thing. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you don't have children, you probably don't because you probably selfishly aborted them. I can't stand ignorance. Grow up Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. My doc has me on it for 2 months, my surgery was 9/25 Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. I was sleeved on 9/25. The same thing I wore to the hospital is the same thing I wore home. I took a change of underwear, my phone and charger that's it. Truthfully I didn't even need my phone or charger because the last thing I wanted to do was to talk to anyone. They provide everything you need. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. I had my vsg on 9/25, hopefully I can go back after 3 weeks. I drive school bus and to return to work I have to pull a 125 pound bag, so I'm unsure. First post op appointment is 10/4. We shall see what the doc says Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. My surgery date is 9/25, so I only have a couple days to go. Not going to lie, the preop liquid diet is hard. In the beginning 3 days I had headaches and was constipated. Now, I just tell myself not much longer. Diet is definitely doable. Good luck!!!!! Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  24. I asked my surgeon because I'm due to get my monthly the same day as surgery 9/25. He said that doesn't stop the surgery, I asked him if I should reschedule and he said absolutely not. He said they give you like paper panties and a pad, and you'll be fine, no tampons. Hope this helps Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
