My surgeon gave me the okay to start "Soft-Mushy food" during week 3-5. It says eat "3 meals a day, each should have 1 oz meat, 1 TBSP fruit 1 TBSP veggies.
"When eating animal protein, start with ground meat consistency, Beef, pork, chicken, turkey etc. then gradually increase to pulled or shredded."
So here I have some bbq pulled pork, frozen, had it before, it's really mushy. I get it from Sams Club. The family is having it, but I don't know if I can have an ounce of it or not. What are your thoughts? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/byrons-fully-cooked-pork-bbq-sams-club-342569292
It meets the single digit sugar/fat requirements laid out by my nutritionist, it's not ground, but it's much mushier than traditional pulled pork
