Fully committed, ready to no longer roll.

I've been scared out of my mind about getting the surgery. I've never been under before, I'm a big guy. Food has been my life. I've been lurking here for a while, resisting signing up.

During my two weeks of liquid diet, I've been telling friends and family "I don't need it". "Look at me, this liquid diet has been simple, I can do two protein shakes a day and a light dinner or vice versa with breakfast. I've tried talking myself out of it as recently as yesterday... I might not need it, I might be able to do it without the surgery, but lurking here, reading all your hardships and successes, I know that I can take the surgery, and the lifestyle change I'm currently undergoing. Wish me luck; one more day of clear liquid, then it's go time.
