  1. 5"4" ? 17m PO (WLM) 134.4lbs (pre-poopy)=scale is a lying liar that lies and this is a fluke reading Monday August 5 Menu: I was doing great until last night. For some reason, I thought it was a good idea to go into the kitchen and make a Wasa cracker crack with liverwurst and cheese. A cracker mayo delivery system. At 8:30pm. I was already in bed watching tv. It was 8:30pm. And I'd brushed my teeth. But it sounded like a plan. I don't even know or understand what prompted me to buy these and bring them in the house again. LOL. See? This is how I got MO and won my lifetime ticket to the Obesity Ball. Hairbrained schemes like this one. Thank you very much lizard brain (hedonic pleasure center/medulla oblongata/POS). You're welcome. B1 6am - black decaff and lots of it. B2 lasted all day - black decaff and lots of it + water L-nada AS-iced protein coffee with 4oz PP + decaff (cuz I was close to poking my eyes out from hunger) D-caprese salad + grilled shrimp & chicken boob + sauteed broccoli with garlic BS-Wasa sourdough cracker + longhorn cheese + liverwurst (lite) + mayo
  2. Well, I hope I don't forget what a food tastes like cuz: 1. I like food. It's more than just fuel to me, it is pleasure and part of life. I just want to put it in its proper place. 2. If I forget how great mac n' cheese feels/tastes on my tongue, I might be more tempted to try it again to see if it's better than I forgot it was. **** But mostly, I like not thinking about food or dreaming up recipes/scenarios built around all-consuming eating. And I'm glad I'm disgusted by huge quantities of eating.
  3. I so admire you guys and want to be y'all when I grow up!!!! You all look amazing and exude good health!
  4. I get it, hon. That's why I posted. Cuz this is a whole new world you are learning.
  5. I think Dr. V. was talking about from the perspective of a newly operated person taking in 300-400 cals per day. That you should delay the gym gyrations until you have your nutrition set and are working it with enough cals to support intense gym workouts. But he never said don't walk. He wants people to walk from day 1.

    LOVEEEEEEE!!!!! Like super love!
  7. LOL, I have to share this with you guys here cuz you will appreciate this. This was on FB this morning from A DOCTOR, and MD...now granted, this doctor is MO by anyone's scale. And has no business preaching "healthy dietary improvements" until he fixes his own issues. But man. He termed this his HEALTHY GREEN DETOX SMOOTHY and gave the recipe for it. So I plugged it into MFP. And this is for 1 smoothy. LOL. Dear god. In what universe is it "healthy" to blend 1 tiny cup of spinach up with all this other gut bomb? 87g of carbs and 53g of sugar in 1 SMOOTY!!! And he's calling it "healthy". No wonder we are all having weight issues! 'merica. Come on. Use your brain!
  8. No, I think you are built! And have gorgeous muscles!!! I think I'm all baggy saggy fluffy skin and fat. So I occupy more space. You know? It would be diff if I had more muscle and was tight. I'd occupy less space.

Hehe. Work from home much? This is my current flavah fave. It's a very large old Hawaiian shirt of my old man's before he lost a lot of weight! The fabrics so worn, it's super duper soft. Like soft kitty soft.

Love yall's outfits!!!! So fun and comfy looking too!!!
  11. I'm at 134lbs this morning and I am barely in an 8. And I swear I have just average bone structure. Isn't it SO strange how different we all are?? No way would a 6 work for me. I feel better in a 10 or 12 even, and M/Ls.
  12. You are an IF rockstar girl!!! Honestly, I think all of us: you, @sillykitty and I have all done the PP in coffee on fast days. I'm sitting here with 1oz in my coffee now. I'm gonna go for a second cup of it later. And I'll likely have broth later. Cuz yesterday was too hard and stressful. So will make it easier and be able to go longer. Have you tried the peaches and cream PP in your tea? I bet the strawberries and cream would also be good. I heart strawberry tea!! Congrats on 2lbs overnight!!!! Woot! (Or do I say sorry for your loss? I know you are trying to maintain!) Happy luteal phase? ?
  13. At 5'3" and "average" frame size, my personal goal would be somewhere between 125-130lbs. But if your bones are big, or you have lots of muscle and or are working out like you are, then it's likely that 140lbs would feel great! And look great too! Cuz you'll probably be smaller than most people who don't work out as you do and weigh 125-130lbs.
  14. Surgery Day Weight 286lbs 5'3" female = 100 + 15lbs = 115lbs "IDEAL" weight EBW = 286-115=171lbs EBW 171lbs X 65%=111lbs EWL Target = 286-111=175lbs target ****** Crap!!! ****** Ok, so 65% is the bottom side of their target. I think they say 65-80%? If memory serves? So let's see at 80% 171lbs x 80% = 137lbs EWL Target = 286 - 137lbs = 149lbs ***** So I would use that 149lbs as your First Goal, then look at your musculature and see how you feel in your body. And if you are "average" then use the chart above to "pick your next goal." Or you can also use this new Smart BMI calculator for more help. Or go get a DEXA scan like @catwoman7 advises so wisely! Especially since you are gonna get plastics so quickly! Here's the new Smart BMI Calculator tool: https://www.smartbmicalculator.com/ Also, those % are just averages that take in outliers--cuz I think most people lose 80% or more of their EBW based on the narrowly defined EBW calculated off Ideal.
  15. Dang, and that 2 inches makes all the difference! You and I are maybe the same size! I do have broad shoulders but my hips are surprisingly slimmer now with the losses. But I'm still good with the BMI per my frame/doc. I think 150 sounds like a perfect size for you at 5'6" with a large frame and heavy muscle mass!!! Two inches makes a HUGE difference! I'm surprised you aren't in a 10 though, but a M/L is an awesome clothes range. That's what most of my clothes are now and I feel comfortable in them although everyone is saying they are big on me. I'm not quite ready to believe that yet though. You sound very solid and compact. So happy it's effortless maintenance though! That's my wish for us all!!!
  16. What did you weigh morning of surgery? I don't think that is correct computation.
  17. Thanks for this! Congrats on doing yours and being at 22% Wow! Congrats on being at 150lbs with your bounce. So what size do you wear? Are you totes happy with your body now? Yeah, you know I promised myself I would do a DEXA when I hit 140lbs. But never did it cuz the $150 price tag seemed so extravagant. So I rationalized that based on my booty, I still needed at least another 10lbs before I had to "worry about getting a DEXA". $150 is about the going rate here in Houston. I have seen groupons for less, so I need to try to catch one on there. LOL. But getting down to 135lbs has been super duper hard. LOL. And has taken a great amount of time/effort and wicked feats of strength. I'm starting to think that even being 130lbs may be beyond my abilities. Crap. Right? So I'm leaning more and more towards a scan. I'm thinking it will be a birthday present.
