  1. Lotta food/lotta cals for 8 weeks, but that's just my opinion. And don't know what most dudes eat volume-wise at 8 weeks either...or what your nutritional reqs are. Sorry not much help.
  2. Huge congrats!!! Nothin wrong with 130lbs girlie!!! You look fabulous!!!! Great that you have a plan for getting your daily in!
  3. Beautiful!!! You look holy hotness mama!!!
  4. Bragging rights! Agreed!
  5. Yay! Piccys please! We heart piccys!
  6. Wooohooo on IFing with us. So weird about notifications! Love this piccy! Ha!
  7. Yes. But seriously, I don't eat salads like that cuz too much fat and they end up making me nauseated. Don't laugh at me, but I use Walden Farms Vinaigrette dressings: Italian (fave), Asian (2nd fave), Sesame Ginger (3rd fave), Balsamic + extra balsamic vinegar (4th fave). Wets the salad slightly and zero cals/carbs/fat. I use avocado, red fat feta/rf blue cheese, or nuts/seeds, or the meat in the salad to get enough fat in it to absorb the vits/mins from the veggies.
  8. Wooohoooo! Welcome to the dark side of the moon! You got this!!! Before long you'll be 16:8 without even trying! Just make sure you can still get all your protein in while keeping your food volume to no more than what your doc wants from you at your stage of healing!!!
  9. Congrats girl!!!! Thanks for the inspiration and giggles! (And screw transparency. Haha! Once that ticker goes down it doesn't go up and is a constant reminder and nagging thorn in my side until I reclaim the original low weight!) *snort*
  10. Back at work in 4 days. Recommendations: 1. Read this forum. Use the search bar. So much info and so many tips. 2. Drink your liquids. 3. Walk.

  12. Ok, no IF this weekend, and today is 19th anniversary! Woot! So today I'm gonna hit IF hard! I'm trying not to eat anything until about 4pm which will be about 20 hours! Hopefully I can make it! Then going to our little Italian place for dinner where I will eat ALL the calories! Don't know if this weight will hold but I'm at a new low today after 1 week of being "mostly" a good girl. I'm at 145.8lbs this morning and I'm about 2lbs shy of being in "normal weight range" which was one of my big targets when I began this journey. I was NOT gonna stop until I was in at minimum--normal weight range. And about half way to my Goal #2 of 140lbs. I'm feeling more positive that I can do this thing than I did right after Thanksgiving Fatsgiving when I bloated up to 158lbs! Gah! How are y'all doing? Anyone IFing the crap outta Monday?
  13. Yep! Ketosis BO, but it will get better. It's something like acetoacetoacetate (sharp pungent smell)--a byproduct of fat breakdown that causes it.
  14. Congrats! Are you trying to lose the 40lbs prior to getting pregnant?
  15. My doc had me up walking same day as surgery. She told me she wanted me to walk as much and as often as I could and that my goal should be walking a minimum of 1 hour per day (ideally all at one time). I started with only being able to make it about 5 minutes. Today I can walk 60+ minutes at one time on some days. I would love to be able to jog/run. It's one of my goals for 2019.
  16. January 7, 2019 My goal...get back to the gym (ie Walking in my house. ) I didn't do so well at that last week. But the day of atonement begins!
  17. Ask your doc and nutritionist. Sorry we're all different and they are all different.
  18. Congrats @RussT! What a huge inspiration!!!
  19. Good luck. It's gonna be hard. At 10.5months a hard boiled egg is still one of the most dense and filling food choices for me. And I can eat anything that stands still long enough. A soft boiled egg is a kinder, more gentle approach that you might have better luck with. 6.5 minute soft boiled egg with a tiny touch of butter or avocado.
  20. Cross posting from the B/A Food thread. No IF for me today--just straight up Atkins Induction. I woke up like a hungry heifer and wanted Sunday breakfast. I grabbed leftovers from dinner last night. I wasn't "hatin". #embracetheleftovers No afters on account of the clean plate club.
  21. Brekky this morning. (No IF in this Fin' place today!) Leftovers from last night: mesquite smoked salmon and garlic green beans. Yum! 1 cup by volume. By weight: 3.25oz salmon (densely packed 1/2c) and 2oz green beans (densely packed 1/2c). As usual...no leftovers, but I am imminently satisfied with no thought of being able or needing "to feed" any time soon.
