Sleeve surgery internsl incision torn
You have published this before. The first time you claimed to have been on the floor on your hands and knees scrubbing it. You were told to go to the Dr then. Looks like that post has been erased. How strange is that?

Dumping sleevers
I agree. Seems you need to clean up your diet and make better choices. Sooth your sick throat with ice or yogurt next time.

Calories per day
I would think it's variable. I'm sure that the kind of calories also make a difference. Example, calories from protein as opposed to calories from sugar.

MCT Oil, Keto..an alternate way to eat Post VGS
I wouldn't try tuna with yogurt. Sounds absolutely ghastly! It's been my experience with the NUTS that I've worked with in the hospital, that discussing fats is difficult. They don't tend to be big on any fat, bad or good.

How did you guys do on your pre op diet?
My two week pre op diet is not liquid. My Doc changed it to a low fat low calorie one. Lean chicken. Veggies. Fruit. Low fat or no fat yogurt and cottage cheese. It's much easier to deal with.

Hair loss
That is absolutely not true.

Ripping burning pain in largest incision
I don't mean to be rude but what possessed you to wash the floor on your hands and knees after major surgery?

Is this crazy?
Only thing that lingers as far as worry goes is the lack of long term studies that are unable to be done with the sleeve. This is due to the newness of it. Can't be helped.

1000 calories per day...HOW?????
What? There will come a time when you can't feel any restriction? Isn't that when you're supposed to do a reset diet?

What did your doctor say about you having surgery?
My Primary Doc wasn't enthusiastic. Most medical people that I know are not fans. All of them have stories of people they knew that gained all of the weight back. I am guessing that most of those people had the lap band. I have no one that is supportive of my surgery except one person. Fortunately it's my boyfriend. He's very supportive and helpful to me.

What kind of yogurt do you eat? Can one get away with a 2% fat one with fruit, even though it contains sugar?

Can older people benefit from Bariatric Surgery?
Aretha gained it all back I'm afraid. I'm 64 and getting a gastric sleeve in two weeks. I have high expectations. It's going to be a very positive thing for me. I foresee adding years to my life without diabetes and congestive heart failure. There will be no stopping me[emoji5]

Stupid Smoking
I used Chantex exactly as prescribed. That meant a lot of side effects, but I stuck it out for eleven weeks. It's a miraculous drug to me. Heavy smoker for years, turned completely non smoker. Have never craved one once. That was 12 years ago.
