  1. It's unfortunately never been a problem for me. I say this preop. That could change.
  2. My surgeon does not require 2weeks liquid preop. Just 2 week preop of low carb low cal.
  3. I'm not a fan of the low fat versions. Did anyone eat the full fat version of these? It would seem that as little as we can eat, one should still lose weight. Anyone eating the 4% cottage cheese and 2% yogurt?
  4. Mine is a PPO Blue Shield which took 3 months
  5. Is like to know this one as well. We need to hear from the old timers.
  6. Not a problem. There is medication for that.
  7. There is a lady at work that had a gastric bypass that has gotten so thin, she is nothing but skin and bones. Not sure why.
  8. Yes. Try to focus on anything else but what you are eating.
  9. Would you share your schedule?
  10. You're two days post op and drinking protein drinks? My surgeon puts us on clear liquids for a week!
  11. I sleep that much and I haven't even had my surgery yet!
  12. Yes Dr Cribbins is going to do mine also. I chose to have it at Presby Plano.
  13. Why did you want a slice of your removed stomach? A bit eerie.
  14. I would open a law suit
  15. I've done a little research on the Fobi Ring. Its purpose is to help you later not to gain weight back. Has anyone had their Dr suggest it or does anyone sleeved have it? Inquiring minds want to know.
  16. Many of us have had these question. Unfortunately we have no crystal ball or guarantee that this will be "it". Personally I feel that there will be pros and cons down both roads. In the end, like with many big life decisions, we have to do as much research as possible, and talk to as many professionals familiar with the subject as possible. Only then will we have a little more confidence in our decision.
  17. Why do you have to have an endoscopy? Is that something that's required by insurance or your Dr?
  18. From what I've read everyone reacts differently to the surgery. Better to wait and see. Ask for 2 weeks. You can always amend it if you feel like going back earlier.
  19. I'm having a few last meals!
