Oh No Phentermine! Help!!!

Hi friends,

Im freaking out. I accidentally took Phentermine this morning and I just realized that may be bad for my endoscopy that is tomorrow morning at 8am!!! I took it out of habit :(

my endoscopy is right after the surgery center opens so I can't even call today and ask because they are closed.:(

Does anyone have experience with this and was it ok?

Why would it interfere with endoscopy?

I guess it can interfere with the anesthesia. But given that this is an endoscopy not my actual VSG surgery I feel like the anesthesia is going to be different than what they use for VSG. Hopefully a more mild anesthesia since you get to go home a few hours after the Endoscopy. But I'm still worried so I'm looking for anyone that may have also taken phentermine close to their endoscopy day. Or just some positive news hopefully :-)

For the endoscopy you should only be under for 15 minutes or something. Pretty short.

Worst case scenario they will just have to reschedule for you if they don't want to go forward.

You should tell them you took it, but theyre not going care and its not going to make a difference. Especially if its just one dose

Why do you have to have an endoscopy? Is that something that's required by insurance or your Dr?
