  1. You could totally use a waist binder! You can find them on Amazon.
  2. Has it always been that way? How far out from surgery are you?
  3. No, but I’d love to follow your journey if you post here along the way. One of the main reasons I had surgery was to help have healthier pregnancies. Congrats!
  4. I had surgery on 5/2 and went to Hawaii for 12 days on 6/29 with my fiancé’s whole family... no one even knew I’d had the surgery, I felt fine, and swam and hiked just fine. No one can tell you what to expect from your own body and recovery, but I think you’ll be totally fine :)
  5. Great job! What was your surgery weight? I’m down 47 since surgery on 5/2... I’m wondering how much slower I’m losing than others.
  6. I’m so inspired! Did you hire a trainer? I think I would really benefit from a trainer, and would love your insight on finding a good one/method of training. Seriously, awesome job, you look amazing.
  7. I don’t know what to tell you, I would be conflicted too, because you trust both of them... I have a non hormonal, copper IUD and it’s worked out great, if you want to try another method.
  8. How long did hair loss last for you?
  9. Between 2 1/2 and 3 months post op. It’s really shedding a lot now (3 1/2 months) and I’m kind of freaking out about it.
  10. I get it. I’d be annoyed too. I wanted my surgery to be first thing in the am so I didn’t have time to fret all day. It is what it is. I’m sorry!
  11. After surgery, I didn’t weigh myself until my first and second post op appointments. Now, 3 1/2 months out, I weigh myself a couple times a week...
  12. I woke up with a nurse sitting next to me, talking to me saying, once you’re a little more awake, we will get your fiancé from the waiting room. I was out of it but not feeling pain and sort of acting silly. A few minutes later, he was there! Then a few minutes after that, we were being wheeled to my room. Don’t worry about this part, they deal with people waking up from surgery all day long, if it’s like my experience, you will wake up in a large room full of people waking up in their own little curtained cubbies. And you’ll be awake, awake in no time.
  13. Let us know how it goes!
  14. Whenever you want!
  15. It’s really hard to say. I’ve lost 45 pounds in 3 months, and have gone from 18/20w to 14/16 in “regular” sizes.
  16. Do you mind if I ask how much those treatments have cost? Do you have to grow the hair out in order to have them lasered off?
  17. Hey! Sorry I totally missed your response until now! I have Kaiser, and went to my first “Options” class in November, and finished in February. I met with the surgeon at the end of April and had surgery May 2. My total out of pocket cost was only $655. My weight at the beginning of my classes (Nov 2017h was 289, surgery weight was 262, and my current weight (8/12/18) is 220 Feel free to message me!
  18. I was scared too, but this is so routine. They do these surgeries ALL the time. You will be fine!!!
  19. I’m about 3 and a half months post op and I have only lost 2 pounds in the past 2-3 weeks. Is this a common time to have a stall? I’ve (only?) lost 42 pounds post surgery.
  20. I have PCOS, and after either bleeding non stop, or not bleeding for a while, I finally had my first normal period in a really long time last week. I am 3 months post op tomorrow. I can feel my body working in a way I haven’t felt in a long time :)
  21. Is anyone else having trouble with their notifications on the phone app? Mine gives me an error message every time since the most recent update.
