  1. I have drank a few cokes, maybe 2 or 3 since surgery. I didn't like it. It just did not feel right. My stomach felt really bloated. And they just didn't taste the same after months of not having one.
  2. No, it doesn't stick out too far. At least I don't think it does. I don't notice it. Mine is probably in the same place as yours but my bra probably sits a little lower than yours because my boods are so big and saggy. :smile2:
  3. Those protein shakes are probably what is keeping you from losing. They really have a lot of calories after you add the milk. Some also have a lot of sugar. How many are you drinking a day? My doctor tells us not to drink those at all. You need to get your protein through solid food. I eat seafood a lot too, and I also like to eat baked chicken. Is it possible you are too tight?
  4. Well, it's stiched into the skin or whatever is there, not my ribs. It's kinda hard to explain. It's right below the middle of my bra.
  5. cyndiloowho, I totally agree with you. That was the point I was trying to make about my city not having an abortion clinic and the closest one being over 2 hours away. Poor women who have unwanted pregnancies are forced to have the unwanted babies because they have no transportation to get to an abortion clinic that is so far away. My Mom and stepdad are foster parents, so I have seen how much a lot of these unwated kids go through. It is really sad. I also agree that there aren't enough people helping these kids. There are so many unwanted kids in state's custody that it is impossible for the state to be able to give them all the help that they need. Prolifers are so concerned with saving the unborn, but what happens after that unwanted child is born? There is no one there to help them then.
  6. It has been a long time ago. It was mentioned on the news not long ago. I will try and find it.
  7. Yes, that is true. We also used to have a planned parenthood here a long time ago. They also left because of prolifers. But they didn't even do abortions. They provided low cost Paps and birth control for women. It was really a blow to the whole community when they left, because women without insurance had no where else to go. I used to go there when I was a teenager to get birth control pills. They also did free STD testing and pregnancy tests. They got ran off though, because they provided women with information on where to get an abortion if they wanted it. But they didn't do them there, so I still don't really understand why they left.
  8. No, I didn't hear about that. The clinic I was talking about was in Chattanooga, TN. But it was a long time ago.
  9. I have been losing about 1.5 pounds a week, on average. But that is ok with me. You are supposed to lose slow. I didn't expect to lose it all really fast.
  10. I forgot to mention the reason the abortion clinic that was here had to close was because prolifers burned down the building.
  11. 11 hours???!!! WOW!!!!
  12. We don't even have a clinic where I live. The closest one is over 2 hours away. A doctor was going to open one here, but because so many people protested it, he decided not to open it. I think there should be one here. There are a lot of poor people here, women who need an abortion and can't get one because they can't afford the long trip. And it is extremely difficult to find a private doctor that will do one in a hospital here. The last clinic we had was back in 1993 I think, and they had to close. We haven't had one since.
  13. I agree with Tommy. Right or wrong, I think abortion will always be legal no matter what happens.
  14. No, I don't want quotes. I don't really care who is or isn't prochoice or pro life or whatever. All I said was I have heard it before, I do not remember where. I will not continue to beat this dead horse.
  15. No, I didn't just hear about it in the above post. I have heard it somewhere before, but I don't remember where.
  16. "Did you know that 80% of so called pro lifers are men?" I have heard that before too.
  17. I agree, you can't compare a wife to a fetus. That is silly.
  18. What are the supplements they give you? Are they pills or shakes?
  19. I know this sounds weird, but when I exercise I don't lose as good. Anyone else have that problem?
  20. I am a christian, but I am still prochoice.
  21. Have you only been able to have liquids since last year? You really need to find a doctor.
  22. I don't blame you for being mad. I would be too.
  23. I agree. It is very hard here to get a doctor to tie a woman's tubes unless she has had more than one kid. My cousin had 2 kids, and she counldn't even get hers tied. She couldn't even afford the 2 she had. Now she has 4. I think it is wrong to not tie someone's tubes if they want it, no matter what. It should be illegal. It is the woman's decision.
  24. slim, you won't notice much of a difference with the first fill. (I know because we have the same doctor and he doesn't put much in the first time). I have had 3 fills and they have all been around my TOM and I have had no problems. I guess it is different for everyone.
  25. I totally agree with you. I have never wanted children either. I have never ever had the desire and I personally don't think I ever will. I take my birth control religiously and if it failed, I honestly don't know what I would do. It would be very bad. So I can totally relate to how you feel.
