Baby-faced boy is father at 13
I just don't think he's the father. He doesn't even look like he's gone through puberty!

To sell out or not to sell out
I wouldn't do it either. Isn't there some place to report these people? If not, there should be.

Do you get sick of other people.......
Thanks! He has actually not been too bad this week. I got a fill yesterday and I expected him to be mad that I didn't eat much today, but he didn't say anything. I also told him I didn't want any candy for valentines day because of the sugar. But he surprised me and bought sugar free!

Going through or considering divorce?
I understand how you feel. I also depend on my husband while I am in school, and he pays the health insurance. Look at it this way, you only have until December, and you know how time flies, it's not really that long. If there is a way for you to live on your own right now, then I would do it. But I wouldn't do it if it meant quitting school. You are lucky that you only have until December, I have 2 more years.

Plastic surgery has nothing to do with abortion, but yes, I think there should be a limit to how much plastic surgery a person should have. More importantly, I think doctors need to be more ethical and not preform plastic surgery on someone who truely does not need it, especially multiple times. When someone is going in to have tons of plastic surgery done, there is definitely a problem psychologically. And that needs to be dealt with, because no amout of plastic surgery will make them happy. Their problem is on the inside, not the outside. As far as limits on abortion, I don't think it should be done on a fetus that is far enough along to live outside the womb. I think that is when it becomes murder. (Unless there are health issues). There are different opinions on when that time is, so I'm not sure about how far along that would be considered. It is also more dangerous late term.

Ok! I think it should be legal up until about 12 weeks. I think a woman should know by then what she wants to do.

Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!
patty, it is true. Premature babies will always be that! They can't suddenly become full term!! Like TQUAD said, there is always a possiblity of something going wrong. A lot of premature babies do delvelop just fine. But these babies are also multiples, which means they have an even higher chance of something being wrong. Don't get me wrong, I hope all 8 of them are just fine. I think octomom is in denial though that something could go wrong. When Ann Curry told her there was a possiblity of cerebal palsy, she didn't seem to believe her.

Not everyone that has had an abortion feels bad about it later. A lot of women feel relieved. When I was younger, I got pregnant. I had an on again, off again boyfriend of about 5 years. It seemed the only time we got together was to party. I was living alone. I have to admit that I wasn't always diligent about birth control. My boyfriend at the time didn't see me as anything other than someone to party with and someone to have sex with. When I found out I was pregnant, I went to his house and told him. I wasn't expecting him to marry me or anything, but I expected a lot more from him than I got. When I told him, he just acted like it was my problem. The only time I saw him after that was about 2 weeks later when I went to ask him for money for an abortion. He would only give me half. I was young. I was living alone, barely paying my rent. I had no support from any of my family and none from my parents at all. I couldn't afford a child. I wouldn't have even been able to afford the time off work to have the baby. So I scheduled an abortion. But as fate would have it, the night before I was going to have the abortion, I miscarried. I felt no remorse, no saddness. What I felt was extreme relief. I still feel that way. That being said, I was only about 8 weeks along. I would not have had one any later than that. I agree with green, if it's going to be done, it needs to be early.

Phentermine?
I agree. I don't mean to be rude, but why would you want to take diet pills if you have the band? If you are at good restriction, you shouldn't need diet pills.

Octuplets and SIX other children??!!!
I agree, premature babies will always be premature! I have a friend who has twins that were born early. They are 3 now and they still aren't talking much. They also get sick a lot more compared to other children the same age.

I think that is so true. I have known so many girls who were pregnant and didn't want it, but were afraid to get an abortion because they were afraid of what people would say about them.

She did try to have an abortion, but she was too far along to get one (in her state). I think she was probably ashamed that she had a one night stand and probably was just in denial that she was pregnant and waited too late before she could abort. Not that I think it's right, but I can see why some women don't get abortions early. A lot are just in denial that they are pregnant. There is a girl I work with who is pregnant and she was in denial about it for months because she already had 2 kids and she and her husband didn't want anymore. She also knew her husband was going to be mad. She didn't even go to the doctor and find out until about a month ago, and she is due next month! Anyway, not that it was right, but this girl was probably really scared and somehow told herself it was ok to do what she did. I guess some people can rationalize anything if they are desperate enough.

I know, it's terrible. They said her Mom and sister talked her into going to the police. I don't understand how she could have given birth at home by herself. She must have been pretty desperate for no one to find out in order to go through that alone.

I felt the same as you, I was terrified that something would go wrong during surgery. I almost changed my mind as they were taking me to the OR! But I'm so glad I did it! All I can say is it is normal to be scared, but you won't be sorry you did it!
