  1. Melody, I'm so sorry I didn't see your post. Someone said take a tablespoon with water (and some lemon juice if you have it). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I'm glad your feeling better. it's a scary feeling I KNOW.

Eileen, the same thing happened to me too, on ZOloft! Three days after starting it, the walls began to breathe in and out and my partner's face turned into an evil clown face. It was frightening. The pills are small as I'm on a baby dose.

Thanks for your responses, it gives me some hope about this drug as I have read some horror stories about it. I do have Fibromyalgia, so hopefully it will work on that. I started taking it yesterday. I'll keep you posted!
  4. I voted. The only issue that might come up is if someone quotes the thread starter. In that case a private PM to them to remove the quote would be in order.
  5. I actually think this is a good move. Unfortunately, because of some people abusing the delete option, we have to have a mod delete a thread or post. If you need a post deleted for whatever reason, you can ask a mod to do it. And we can edit our posts.I think this makes sense and isn't a big deal.

Hey all, As you may or may not know, I'm going through a tough spot and my doctor prescribed Prozac. Has anyone been on this? I have a history of depression with possible Bi-Polar II and don't react well to anti-depressants at all, and heard this can cause weight gain. Not too good for a recent bariatric patient.
  7. I'm one month out too. I can't feel mine with my hands either. I can feel it when I laugh or move a certain way though. I know it's there, but like you I can't see or feel it otherwise.
  8. Melody, The first day I went to solids I had that feeling. The food just layed in my pouch .IT was uncomfortable and I was nervous. IT stayed there for hours and hours. I woke up at 5 am and came to the board to see what I could do. SOmeone said take meat tenderizer, get on all fours with your head down, drink hot tea. I did it all and went back to bed. I woke up having it pass through finally.
  9. I hope we don't lose the edit button. If they want to take out the delete button, that's another story. But this forum will not survive my dyslexia. Edit is my friend and yours people!:Banane56:

p.s. I just thought I'd let you all know one of my hobbies is actually a paranormal investigator aka Ghosthunter. I have conducted my own private ones, by myself or with a couple of others and belong to an organization here in NJ. I have some EVP and photographic experience from a home recorder and digital camera used in various places. I have been feeling, seeing and hearing ghosts since childhood. I'm not a "psychic" like the ones you see on TV,I'm no Derek Acora, but the years has really tuned me into feeling or sensing different energies, feelings, get impressions, etc. I am one that likes to make sure what I'm experiencing can't be debunked or explained by some other naturally or artificially occurring phenomenon. In other words, I want to make sure what I am experiencing is real, and not something else. :-) I like the validation from the techno side. I think it's great to have a balance of the two in an investigation. I've had some of my experiences and some of my true ghost stories published . The internet, in books like Coast to Coast Ghosts, Weird Nj and a upcoming book called Animal Spirits. One was was televised on local cable and I've done some public speaking, lectures and been on the radio about this stuff.. My interest and fascination with this phenomenon began in childhood and has never waned. If anything, it gets stronger. I want to know why, how and where. Why things are happening and find out details to a haunting. I want to help people and help them understand and not be afraid. Above all, it's about helping others.
  11. Excuse me miss, but is that dancing banana naked?
  12. I'm so glad this thread helped you Melody. Were you eating too fast too, or do you think your band is just not ready for solids?

Paula, I love the story about your son's angel. I'd love to hear more angel stories. ABout a year ago, I got pancreatis from a bad gallbladder. I was so sick and also afraid t'd get chronic pancreatitis. One day, I was thinking about it a lot, while waiting for diagnosis and I was praying for someone else and I heard a voice say to me "Your going to be allright" And I was. But when I heard that voice, I knew it was angelic and I knew thenI would be okay. One other time I had an angelic intervention was I was at a dinner party. During the day I had lit a candle, and my memory is so foggy since getting fibromyalgia. I was laughing and having a great time and I heard a voice, clear as a bell (it was the same male voice I heard above) say "You left the candle burning". I stopped in mid sentance. Got to my feet and left everyone at the table. I drove home at 70 miles an hour (we were about 30 min away) and came in the door just in time to see the candle a tower of flame, wax dripping onto the table aflame and the floor starting to go on fire. My cats were afraid and hiding. If that voice had not said that, that moment. I would have lost everything and killed my cats. I am sure as anything that was angelic intervention.
  14. I'm really loving the pictures of all the creativity from everyone! It's so cool. edited until images fixed! :guess

Bless each and every one of you. Your miles away and on the Internet, but your support really does help so much, as do your prayer. I will keep you all posted and the may 1st scheduling still stands. I went and got a massage today. I can't afford it, so a friend who is in massage school did it for free because I'm such a wreck. Hearing stories that all was well, or success stories helps too. *HUGS***
  17. Vines, although you will be missed, I can understand why you'd be disheartened seeing all the tickers with losses when you struggle so much. ALthough maybe hanging out in the unbanded forum would help, or just take a break and come back. Hey, maybe even start your own forum or a section for Bandsters with hormonal issues who are struggling??

Thanks donna and gentlespirit. I took both your recommendations and called back. They are going to call me back to see if they can fit me in for Tuesday. My doctor is in high demand, he is very good. Donna, I find your words that nothing bad is going on strangely calming and reassuring. :-)

Thanks Donna. I'm trying. I had to take a 1/2 Xnanax to stop from shaking. I've been having really, really heavy and painful periods. SO bad I'm becoming anemic. It just goes to show how fast your life can change from one moment to the next. If anyone would care to say a prayer, blessing or send light to this situation I would be thankful.

Thanks ALex. Your so right, they are scary. Funny how the world just stopped as of 30 minutes ago. I was thinking of going to the store, going to a concert in a few weeks. Now I don't care about it. Just feel like curling up in a ball. Fear is powerful.
  21. I love me some Boca Burgers. Good stuff.

On May 1st they are going to do a sonogram with some sort of solution, to take a look at the walls of my uterus. He said these cells are normally not present with a pap. The cervical cells looked normal. My mom had uterine cancer. I'm shaking.
  23. NeenBand posted a topic in The Lounge
Just got a call from my gyno saying they found endometrial cells in my pap. He said the cells were normal, but that they should not be in the pap. I have to go into more tests because it's either nothing or Uterine cancer. :-( AT my last visit, he was very, very supporive of my getting the band, because he said, the weight will increase my risks of cancers like Uterine cancer. I got the band to avoid all that...:think
  24. This is exactly what bothers me about it.
