Silly question about port

Heya Everyone,I hope I'm explaining this correctly. Curious to know if this sounds normal. I'm 1 month post op and If I press the area around my port I feel muscle. I thought I would be able to feel the port. By no means am I complaing about that ( hehe). I've read so much and some have said sometimes you can see it stick out. My mind races alot and I was thinking maybe it became unattached ? thanks ..

I'm one month out too. I can't feel mine with my hands either. I can feel it when I laugh or move a certain way though. I know it's there, but like you I can't see or feel it otherwise.

I'm 6 weeks out and I can't see or feel mine. If I move a certain way I definitely feel it though! I went through a few days recently when it was uncomfortable no matter what I was doing. I don't think I pulled it or anything - God knows I haven't been exercising! - but it seems to be feeling better again the last couple of days.

I wonder if that constant awareness of the port will ever go away? Seems like as we lose weight and the fat covering it becomes thinner, we'll be more aware of it, rather than less. Don't really know.
