sparty2k got a reaction from Sherry Rice in LIQUID multi vitamins and meds
I use Tespo (gettespo.com), which has a bariatric formula (powdered vitamins) that is added to Water and doesn't taste half bad. I look at it as a Keurig for Vitamins. Hope this helps.

I'm 14 days out & have been using Tespo. It's similar to a keurig but for Vitamins. They have a "bariatric formula" that are in pre packaged wells for each day of the month. It's been really easy so far.

sparty2k got a reaction from Ms. Brightside in Dr. Julie Kilgore - Nicholson Clinic - Plano, TX
I checked out Nicholson clinic about a year ago and had a bad experience. Also checked out Dr. Kim before going with Dr. Hamn. Dr. Hamn was the best. Ended up having a wonderful experience (sleeved 11/3/16) with him as well as his staff.

I was sleeved July 2016. I did have Hair loss at 4 months post op. However, it's growing back nice and healthy! My hair stylist said I lost about 15% in volume, which is a lot for a Bariatricc patient. I take Biotin for regrowth and as a bonus, my eyelashes have never been so long in my life!

I don't calories, per se. I do keep a general idea of where they are to make sure that I am getting enough. I also pay attention to the calories on new foods just to be able to keep a general idea of my intake. I log via the fitbit app. My nutritionist goal is between 850-1000. Some days the total is closer to 1200. I'm not going to trip off it. I get my Protein, my fluids, and plenty of exercise.

I'm almost 3 months post-op. My program calls for 800-1200 cal/day, 60g+ Protein, and 64 oz+ Water. I typically eat a variety of things, changes daily. My main Protein sources are edamame, lots of fish and seafood, Beans, homemade milk kefir, cheese and chia seeds. I usually have a serving of fruit a day, usually half a grapefruit or blueberries, and for vegetables, I really love spinach salads. I eat clean, and almost everything I eat is unprocessed.

I had reconstructive plastic surgery on my face after surgery for skin cancer a couple years ago and my surgeon recommended "Scar Away". Worked really well as you can't see the scar on my face so I have been using it on my sleeve scars (sleeved 11/3/16) along with some Vitamin E.
