I don't count calories. The only times I have tracked calories post-op were when I was trying to make sure I was eating ENOUGH. Shortly post-op, when I was first on solid foods, I wanted to make sure

I haven't tracked calories since surgery either. I do make sure that I am eating Protein based meals 3x a day with a Protein shake. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using the BariatricPal App

I hate the idea of counting calories. I will count Protein, sugar, and fat grams for the pre and post op diets, but calories, nah. Personally it's just added work that I don't want to live my life by. I like the idea of eating to contentment and only when it's stomach hunger. Anyone with success doing it this way? Besides, when my tummy is able to tolerate a plant based diet, I don't think I'll need to count. Any thoughts?
