I felt the same! But it does get better. Give it three weeks and you'll forget the pain as if you never felt anything.

Yeah I don't get too upset over a pound but when I see anything over three pounds I get annoyed lol ...I know I shouldn't but after the "chop" I wasn't expecting that to be a possibility so soon

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately I'm on the up and down of b/p usually it's too low...I do get dizzy spells once in a while
I pay close attention to my body, if I feel my heart racing I definitely won't drink it.

Just be aware that Powerade and those sports drinks are filled with electrolytes (sodium). So if you're BP has been low or dizzy spells coming that weren't before surgery, they will help with those effects.
However if you are fighting high BP, they are a bad idea. Also, by design they make your body hold on to Water.

I couldn't stand Water either, until about a month ago. My first four months post-op, I just couldn't drink plain water because it would make me nauseous every time. Luckily I could drink it with flavoring like Crystal Light, etc. I can drink it now, finally. But I sure was worried there for a bit that I was never going to be able to!

I drink mainly Water with no flavorings. It's becoming less palatable. And i have to have it room temp. I used to love cold Water but realized it doesn't sit well with me. It hurts and feels heavy. Room temp water goes down easier but now im feeling like it may be sitting heavy and i almost border on nauseous. I try to push through but it gets hard.

I was the same, but I figured there's no way around it - Water is essential and I'm not going to work around it. So I set a timer on my phone and forced myself to take a sip every three minutes. My sips got bigger and now I can pretty much gulp. I get 64oz on the dot because it's still hard. However, I had a really hard workout this morning and 20oz. went down very well. Oh and here's a tip: Take a few gasX strips, wait a few minutes and try drinking. It's goes down much more smoothly.

I use Crystal lite lemonade in my room temperature Water, but it's better with ice. I also drink blue Powerade zero. Those are my two go to drinks right now. But I miss tea. (Decaf is not the same)

Plain Water actively hurts my stomach. I know it sounds weird but my surgeon said it's not uncommon side effect. I use a lot of mios and Crystal Light. I drink a lot iced tea. I also like the 5 calorie diet cranberry juice cocktails. I also like to add ice to my Protein drinks and put it in the Ninja blender. It up my liquid and give a better texture to the drinks. Makes it feel more like a frappuccino then a Protein Drink. This works really well with my Fairlife chocolate Milk genpro shakes. Turns 12 ounces into 20 without much loss of taste

I use to love water...so I'm actually surprised. I try to chew on ice chips but I don't have time to always chew ice chips. For some reason when I drink Water it feels so heavy like I'm drinking cement.

In my opinion feeling full is just not hungry it's not the same as before surgery. I use to eat until I was stuffed. Now I eat and try to wait a few minutes in between bites. There have been times I felt like throwing up and there were times I was surprised how much I can eat without feeling "stuck"

There's a difference between a business contract and a marriage. For example you don't sleep in bed with your boss and have kids as soon as you sign a contract. I feel sorry for the woman who fall victim to some of you manipulating ass men! Y'all stick up for each other like some Girl Scouts. Children are a blessing not "complications " God I hope y'all ain't breeding.
