These are my absolute favorite. My husband makes them a few times a week.
    2 eggs 1 large banana (or 1 1/2 small)
    That's it
Whisk eggs mush in banana then whisk, til it looks like pancake batter. Cook on griddle or skillet. Yields 4 small pancakes which I am 6 months out almost and can only eat 1. So I'm eating a 1/2 an egg and 1/4 of a banana.
They keep well in fridge in a zip lock bag over night. If they last that long. Hubby eats the other 3 most days.

I'm 15 months post op tomorrow. Most days I still feel like me some days I don't recognize that woman in the mirror. Don't get me wrong I like me and don't regret it at all just sometimes I don't feel like me at all. Always a bigger girl and getting "noticed" more is a bit awkward.

Yes bananas are high in carbs the equivalent I'm eating is 1/4 a banana. About 6 grams. Much better than a reg pancake with Syrup to flavor, I don't even want to think about that carb content. I have hypoglycemia which is opposite of my pre op diabetes high blood sugar. So for me under 8g of healthy carbs in the morning is a good thing.

I had surgery in October last year and married a wonderful man February....then things changed. Snide comments about my size and things. He has gained about what I lost too. It's about their image and insecurities. Nothing to do with you as a person. It is hard but it can be worked through if he is willing.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, cauda equaina syndrome, failed lumbar surgery syndrome, and diabetes. Took all but diabetic meds after surgery in October til January. I didn't stop taking them from side effects. I just stopped and realized I didn't need them anymore. 3months the only prescription I have is b12

Amazing I started at 251 in October 198 today thats 6 months so you're doing great. Mine has been totally slow but knew it going in w hormonal issues. I was at a stall from march til now up and down about 5 lbs between 206 to 201. Hit 199 on my birthday the 13th then back up to 204. Til the other day finally down lower than my lowest. Hopefully my cal increase and exercise change is working

    Hi guys!
I get on here every six months or so to update y'all I've never made a topic with progress pictures before, so I thought I would this time, as I've been maintaining below goal for almost a year now.
    SW: 323
    CW: 153
    Size 24/26 to a 4/6
    No skin removal
I ran my first half marathon in February and am running another in November, which is pretty cool! When not in race training mode, I run 3-6 miles, three days per week, and do HIIT style training (heavy weights and cardio) at the gym 2-3 other days per week. I tend to fluctuate between 150-153 lbs, depending on the time of month and just general day to day food/water intake.

I'm three years out from surgery.
    Today I ate:
    Breakfast:
    Avocado turkey sandwich
    Snack:
    Light frappacinno
    Beef Jerky
    Lunch:
    Veggie sandwich
salad with dressing and blue cheese
    Glass of wine
    Snack:
Few pieces of cheese and crackers
    Dinner:
    bread roll
    Mashed potatoes
    Little bit of pulled pork
Salad with ranch and sunflower seeds
    Snack:
    chocolate cake
    A regular coke
    Late night snack:
    Microwave pizza
    Hot pocket
    Sour Licorice
    Some m and ms candy
This is pretty typical for me on days I work during which I'm on my feet about 12 hours non stop almost running the whole time. On a normal day I would eat this minus the late night snack... I wouldn't be quite that hungry but maybe... it just depends.
I eat to my hunger cues now and don't count calories or weigh myself. I simply eat if and when I am hungry and whatever appeals to me. I 100% reject dieting ever again and I will never try and restrict my intake to lose weight again.
I'm skinny as a rail and have been that way for over 2 years. I don't frankly care much anymore though. Life is better when you are free to eat and self worth isn't based on weight or some stupid number on a scale. I enjoy my life.
Here I am today enjoying all that yummy food.

Had surgery on October 3rd 251 married February 11th so a hair over 4 months. Dress was too small size 20 about a 18 reg size and too small week before wedding taken in to a reg 14 about 16 wedding dress size and I weighed about 210. Lost about 4 sizes

You will probably be down 4 sizes from your current. (So if you wear a size 18, you'll be in a 10). I would recommend waiting as long as possible to buy the dress, and see if it can be finished within 2-3 weeks of the wedding.
    Congrats! And good luck!

@outsidematchinside that's a good point..vanity allowed me to think I looked okay even at 540 pounds.

It's weird, I felt more confident naked at 540 pounds than I do at 285 with extra skin...

I feel like I'm in competition with myself now. I try and beat my best to see if I can do better. Now with my Fitbit I try and beat my last days steps the best I can.

I definitely did this partly for vanity. I'm 30 and single. The main reason to do this surgery was to save my life because I was killing my self at 540 pounds. But a part of the reason I did this was to look hot. To shove it in the face of every person and guy who judged me first for my appearance and personality last. The ones who said I had a great personality but they weren't attracted to me...I want to get to a healthy weight and shove it in their face that I can be hot and I'm not interested in them because I can change my weight but they can't change their attitudes or poor personality.
It's already started and I haven't even hit goal yet.
