Any regrets??

So I'm curious; I've read alot of stories here and have to say this site has helped me so much! but I would love to know, does anyone regret having a bypass/sleeve? If so, why? Im due surgery on Jan 12th. I want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks!!

Only regret is not doing it years ago when I first started considering it.

No regrets, I wish I did it 5 years ago!

No regrets.

Not so far:) Surgery was super easy for me. Worst part was liquid diet on either side of surgery...was so hungry!!!

Even if I'm not a huge loser......getting off my BP meds and diuretic, and not having edema in my legs....is so darned cool! I feel really good, tons of energy.

I doubt I'll get to my goal weight, (hoping to, but trying to be realistic)....but if I can just spend the rest of my life under 200....I'll be a seriously happy camper.

Been VERY happy so far!

The jury is still out. I’m only 16 days post op, and it’s been a difficult recovery so far.
