  3. Thanks. I mean I get my protein in just wish I could take the powder add the water at work or gym and shake. $ wise they are less expensive too. Was wondering if others had the same problem Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I've tried everything even mixing Greek yogurt. It just doesn't stay. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. What are you eating now? Also on a budget but since I don't eat a lot it's quality over quantity. Protein shakes for me are convienant with a price, but I can't drink the powder kind. I eat tuna pouches and eggs a good bit, yogurt. Fruit at times. I have found if I stick to healthy planned food I get full and stay full. Unhealthy snacks like crackers I could eat around my pouch if I wanted to. [emoji20] I'm 15 months post op tomorrow. Not where I want to be yet but like you gained about 5 lbs now loosing again. I had a coffee problem, I still do only now it's not loaded with as much bad stuff. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app

  7. I ate about 6 or 7 times a day. I still do about 5 at 15 months post op. But a meal is a yogurt or a tuna pouch, or an egg and 1/2 peice of fruit. Today Oatmeal 1 serving 31g or a little over an oz Coffee decaffeinated with Splenda Snack Nonfat yogurt 6oz Lunch Tuna pouch 2.6 oz Snack Cutie 5 almonds Dinner Egg skillet which is 1.5 egg scrambled 2 slices land o frost turkey Cup total chopped Spinach peppers onions tomato mushroom All sauteed together Will have a snack later depending on my blood sugar. It runs lows sometimes. Again I am way farther out than you but hopefully it helps. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. I'm 15 months post op tomorrow. Most days I still feel like me some days I don't recognize that woman in the mirror. Don't get me wrong I like me and don't regret it at all just sometimes I don't feel like me at all. Always a bigger girl and getting "noticed" more is a bit awkward. 11. 15 months post op tomorrow. No regrets. I did it to get off my meds and I did. No longer diabetic cholesterol is 114. I am still at 202 but satisfied because of my eating habits. If I loose I loose if I stall I stall. I am in a 12 size large and 8 shoe ring finger is now a 6 before I was a 26 size 3x 10 shoe 10 ring finger. 12. Honestly I think I have tried them all. Liquid shakes I can do like Atkins or premier but if it's powder even if I put it in the blender it won't stay down. I'm 15 months post op tomorrow. I can tolerate almost anything on plan now but those just don't work. Anyone else have this issue? It's not a flavor or taste thing it's the texture. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. My sugar and the need for meds stopped when I did the 2 week pre op liquid diet had surgery Oct 3rd 16 so I'm a year 3month post op. Bs is great. I also had PCOS but had a hysterectomy about 3 months before so I'm not sure how much it would have helped. Fertility was one of my initial goal when I started my weight loss journey. I do feel my hormones are more regulated but it could be partial hyst, of by pass related. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I had surgery in October last year and married a wonderful man February....then things changed. Snide comments about my size and things. He has gained about what I lost too. It's about their image and insecurities. Nothing to do with you as a person. It is hard but it can be worked through if he is willing. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I am over a year post op Oct 3rd 2016. Most things I can eat but I still have days I can't tolerate eggs, chicken, tuna, or broccoli. Some days anything is fine. Hope you feel better. Sent from my 5056N using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. Around 5-7 weeks I went through an I could eat more than I thought I should phase then it was like my stomach woke up and said no. Sliders like soup yogurt liquids I can eat more but at 8 months out I can do about 3-4 protein 2-3 veggies. I have that 1 week a month where I feel constantly hungry regardless so I try stay more planned because I crave sweets, that I don't even want once I taste them
  23. No I had a hysterectomy then bypass 4 months later. If it could have waited they would have done them at the same time. My pain and recovery was about the same with both. Bypass was a little worse but neither bad
  24. I go by McDonald's get a plain ice coffee and add caramel protein shakes from premier yummy
  25. I am 8 months out can't eat ice cream one bite heart races sugar drops in the bathroom I go. I think it is the dairy that does it. Low fat greek yogurt is about all I can handle
