What to eat

I will be 2 years out from Gastic Sleeve on 4/12/18 and I have only gained about 5 pounds, but never hit my goal weight. I struggle with what to eat? How much? Protein ideas? etc. I really want to get to my goal, but I just don't know what to do anymore. The protein shakes I was drinking before and right after surgery, make me sick now just to try and drink one. I don't eat breakfast because I do not know what to eat and I am on a very, very tight budget as a single mom. Any suggestions?

What are you eating now? Also on a budget but since I don't eat a lot it's quality over quantity. Protein shakes for me are convienant with a price, but I can't drink the powder kind. I eat tuna pouches and eggs a good bit, yogurt. Fruit at times. I have found if I stick to healthy planned food I get full and stay full. Unhealthy snacks like crackers I could eat around my pouch if I wanted to. [emoji20] I'm 15 months post op tomorrow. Not where I want to be yet but like you gained about 5 lbs now loosing again. I had a coffee problem, I still do only now it's not loaded with as much bad stuff.
