  1. Every person is different. We are running about the same I was 292 hw 251 sw October 3rd 201 today up 1 1/2 lbs sigh. I think it depends on so many factors per person. I have pcos, even with a partial hysterectomy still have hormonal issues. As long as scale keeps moving south. Right now I'm up and down between 201-199 for a couple weeks. Changing things up trying to get it moving below 199
  2. Good luck to you all
  3. I love the t shirt bra. Im a band and cup size bigger than other expensive bras. 38-40c in theirs a 42d
  4. Since being overweight I was mostly a sports bra girl. So I went from a 48-52c to a 38-40c or d depending. Went to maiden form tried on several because I had no idea the size I was. They are around $40 but I got 3 on sale for$14. I've always been a real bra off as soon as I got home. Now I hurt not wearing them. Back shoulders girls. I wear them til bed. They all have wires they don't dig or poke. I was the girl who used to pull those wires out. Separate cups too. I am not sagging much but think they have firmed up since the new bras. It's only been a little over a week.
  5. Definitely chap stick and gas x comfy pants. I'm not one to wear that awful gown walking the halls and there will be walking
  6. Did dr ever tell you why you couldn't drink plain water. I can't either. 6 months out I froth, foam what ever its called and vomit. Sip sip doesn't work either. If I add crystal light or have a power aid zero I'm fine. My dr had no insight and had never heard such
  7. And as I just found out, this is my problem. 6 months out eating 700-800, now pushing 1000-1200. Feeling not run down. I was at a stall. Scale moving this morning. My bmr was 2100 andi was burning an additional 650-700 through exercise. My poor body thought I was starving.
  8. I watch it and sit on my recumbent bike or elliptical and work out while I watch. It amazes me how a few of them can eat large amounts so soon after. I'm 6 months out and have eaten sliders thinking it seems like a lot. "Following dr plan" to get enough protein and calories, but a sandwich from drive thru.....I can't even look at a biscuit still.
  9. No. My weight loss has been slow but steady still lost more than I thought I would. Biotin should be started as soon as possible. Even before surgery. It doesn't stop or prevent hair loss it just helps it grow back faster my dr says. I took it before surgery but was on 1 5000 tab a day, not knowing there was a difference, now 6 months out I'm on 10,000 gel cap 2x a day. Results are astounding. Got my hair cut shorter and stacked in the back about 2 months ago. Before my hair was a bit dry but thick and strong I could only wash it every couple days. Now its growing quick and the texture is different. I have to wash it every day. Still shedding but not as much.
  10. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, cauda equaina syndrome, failed lumbar surgery syndrome, and diabetes. Took all but diabetic meds after surgery in October til January. I didn't stop taking them from side effects. I just stopped and realized I didn't need them anymore. 3months the only prescription I have is b12
  11. Mine has dropped to 27 as well. I was pre op diabetic though. I still eat low carb foods but have about 60 grams a day dr orders. I eat a healthy good carb snack like fruit before a work out helps too. Im 6 months out a1c 4.6 now. I still have lows.
  12. I'm above Spartanburg
  13. Oh yes 5 months out. Onions, eggs, my husband's cologne when he first sprays it and my favorite bath and body lotion. Ugg smells
  14. 6 months out eggs still get "stuck" I can manage a half an egg. Salmon and occasionally chicken too.
  15. My weight never was fast, almost 6 months out. I lost a 3-4 lbs a week. On another note I didn't plateau like a lot of people either. Hit my first plateau for 2 weeks this month. Don't stress it. The scale will move if you follow dr plan and enjoy the nsv in the meantime. When my scale stops it seems I loose pant sizes. I was 262preop liquid 251 surgery day 199 today my high ever was 334 a few years ago and 292 last January when I started so I'll take it.
  16. I am almost 6 months out. This had been going on since my preop liquid diet around 260 lbs. Im 199 now. Was just diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension only thing they tell me is drink more and move slowly from laying down or sitting. My bp is around 110/70 sitting immediately standing 90/ 55 on average
  17. Yes bananas are high in carbs the equivalent I'm eating is 1/4 a banana. About 6 grams. Much better than a reg pancake with syrup to flavor, I don't even want to think about that carb content. I have hypoglycemia which is opposite of my pre op diabetes high blood sugar. So for me under 8g of healthy carbs in the morning is a good thing.
  18. I love them as well.
  19. These are my absolute favorite. My husband makes them a few times a week. 2 eggs 1 large banana (or 1 1/2 small) That's it Whisk eggs mush in banana then whisk, til it looks like pancake batter. Cook on griddle or skillet. Yields 4 small pancakes which I am 6 months out almost and can only eat 1. So I'm eating a 1/2 an egg and 1/4 of a banana. They keep well in fridge in a zip lock bag over night. If they last that long. Hubby eats the other 3 most days.
  20. Other than my protein shakes yogurt tuna pouches and a couple of other things. I try to eat less processed foods. Basically chicken fish turkey from meat section fresh or frozen fruits and veggies and eggs. Those other things are almond milk, broccoli tots, sf pudding. I don't eat a lot of these.
  21. What what. Hit onederland today... A year since my first preop weight loss visit. 5 months 10 days since surgery 199.5
  22. I can't believe that dress was a 14. Me a 14. I was a 16 my 1st year of high school
  23. Had my first pre op visit a year ago tomorrow. High weight 292. Currently 200
