  1. I had a lap band removed last year. I have a hernia from where it was attached, I've just told people I'm having that repaired which I am during the gastic sleeve. Buy I'm not telling people about the sleeve.

  5. I'm day 5 of pre-op diet, I lost 2kg (4.4pounds) but that was 3 days ago. I'm trying to remember is a marathon not a sprint. My 6 month old is weaning of demand breastfeeding so my body is also going through that change. I have 4 weeks of pre-op diet ???? I went to my sister in law's dinner birthday last night. I don't mind self I wasn't allowed any cake so if course I got annoyed with myself and had two slices! I'm also not telling anyone, so I got into the mindset of having to eat "normal" so they don't notice which is a dangerous mindset. Today is a new day to work on my healthier lifestyle changes. @@shoodle72 lol I'm exactly the same. I can get a pre-made shake down here which is sometimes easier with 3 kids in the morning all demanding Breakfast right this minute! Good luck everyone xx

  7. It's great that you have reached out now! Take a deep breath abd be kind to yourself. It's in our nature to make mistakes, everyone days. You've made a mistake but you realise it and are reaching out now. Try some mindfulness videos on YouTube. They can help stay in the moment. I'm struggling on my preop date, I haven't had carbs in 3 days. I've tried knitting because I'm not very good at it I have to concentrate more on the task. Good luck xx

  12. I told my husband and psychiatrist. Others I'll say I'm on a diet. Had a lap band removed last year and I've had a few issues with heart burn during my lady pregnancy so I've cut out a few things. Having had the lap band and telling everyone, I definitely don't want to go through that again. I'll paved the way with doing more walking and telling people I'm watching what I eat. Good luck.   16. So I'm now on the pre-op diet. Anyone else think if they don't sick to it 100% they will fail? Anyone else been able to stick to it 100%? If you didn't, what did you do?   23. I had my freak out today, I was determined to call the surgeon on Monday pushing the operation back because life is crazy with 3 kids.
