  1. I was glad for the 3 weeks, the first was fine but the 2nd 3rd were hard.
  2. Congratulations! Love your curly hair!
  3. Knitting! And sewing. I have so many unfinished projects. My problem is I go to the wool and fabric shop and see new things and I think to myself "I'll make that" but when you do that every other week it becomes a obsession lol
  4. Congratulations! You can see the difference.
  5. Yesterday was chicken, mushroom, chicken broth, high protien milk, parsley, coriander, onion, ham (added because my 6yr old insisted) cheese added at the end. So yummy! I pressure cooked this. I was cleared for small amounts of soft food yesterday and the chicken feel apart with my fork. Rest of the family added Pasta. Today I'm slow cooking lamb shanks in a tomato curry. Hubby will cook rice for everyone else and I'll probably have a Protein shake :-) lamb is not cleared on my soft diet only chicken and fish. I love my pressure/slow cooker saves massive amounts of time! But it's spring in Australia so it's starting to get to hot.
  6. I'm also 17 days post op and I feel the same way! I'll go great for a day or two then bam! I'm exhausted. Like you I'm getting my protien, Water and Vitamins in everyday. Guess it's all apart of it. I saw my Doctor yesterday and he assured me that it's my body adjusting. I few was feeling good when I woke up yesterday so I made sure to walk a bit more because either way I'd be tired today.
  7. I do the same thing. I also never tell myself I cannot have something I just choose to not have it right now.
  8. 2005 (I think) - Simple Plan ans Green Day! Sung so loud my throat hurt for days.
  9. Calender method and condoms. Anything hormonal doesn't work well for me.
  10. When I'm worried about going to the gym I remind myself that I need 30 seconds of courage to get me through the door. After that I focus on what I need to do. And then I find myself feeling good overall because I'm moving and working towards my goal. I'm 12 days post op so right now I'm doing light walking for 5-10mins at a time then I'll sit for 5 min and get up to do it again. I aim for 30min all up right now. Sometimes I get to that and sometimes I don't. I go for me. Good luck!
  11. Why can they just drop you as a client? I'm confused on what Medicare is in America? Wish it was simpler for you, fingers crossed you'll find an even better surgeon.
  12. Myfitnesspal is good l. I track my fid and weight loss.
  13. It's not too late, what you went through sounds awful! So sorry. Hope you can get back on track xx
  14. Wow! Epic effort. Congratulations and welcome.
  15. Congratulations! You go girl
  16. LOL those fish had purty lips *mawh*
  17. Not enough protien. You could add more unflavored protien.
  18. Oh love, I hear what your saying. Try to stay in the moment. Mindfulness is a great tool, it will help you relax and help not look forward or backwards. Just being here right now in this moment then the next etc. Sitting with these feelings and acknowledging them is great! Your mind and body are tired right now but over time things will get better. Hope today is better for you xx
  19. If you think your dying go to the hospital. Being dehydrated is really bad, they could at least give you fluids to help. Hope it gets better soon xx
  20. Everyone has posted really great things already in this thread. It's up to the individual if they will open a topic and respond. Don't worry if it's been asked, I'm sure a lot of people have joined since something was posted. I'm sure there will be more thoughts, ideas and perceptive. We all have something different to add.
