  1. I'm getting sleeved on the 8th of Oct. Have usual fears and excitement. But right now I can't visualize being slim. (Does that even make sense?) I can't see my body being smaller, I've brought some goal clothes but still I find it hard to see my body in them. Anyone else go through this?

  11. Great job mate! Seriously well done. Any loss is awesome. Could waking for 5 minutes a day help? I've found that helpful, if I don't do more than that then I've at least 5 minutes of something. Good luck for your futures losses Sent from my SM-G925I using the BariatricPal App *walking Sent from my SM-G925I using the BariatricPal App
  12. So today is my big day of! My youngest (6months) is being taken care of today so I'd be all by myself with my older two at school and preschool. I went for a walk along the river and had only protien brunch with my sister, saw some scones and resisted! On my way home I got the dreaded call asking me to pick up child no. 2 (3.5yrs) from preschool. Sitting here hold him and he wakes up crying not making any sense and then I feel a very warm wet sensation down my leg and crotch. Eek I guess that is being a mum! Being on call 24/7. It's a bit nice being the one he needs. So I thought I'd pay on here rather than eating chocolate and feel sorry for myself. That walk did me good!
  13. I was so happy when the surgeon told him the date of 8th of Oct because I feared it would take forever but then about 20min later reality hit home and I had the same thought. My husband looked at me and said I had gone all white and looked terrified. I think it's good to realise how huge a lifestyle change this is going to be, give it thought and look at the pros and cons. I live in Australua so our health insurance is very different here, but I think it's awesome that you spoke to your husband and you've made the choice to seek help! Good luck xx Sent from my SM-G925I using the BariatricPal App

  18. I was wondering about that, if I go of diet try to limit to to protien.
  19. I'm stressing about my 4 week pre-op diet. It's a long time to be on Meal Replacements. I have fears that I won't sick to the diet abd I won't ready for the operation. What if this means I won't be successful after the surgery because I can't do 4 weeks of shakes? So many negative thoughts. If you have any advice or willing to share your experience, I'd love to hear.
  20. It sounds like your in a negative frame of mind. Congratulations on losing the weight, you must feel great trying on new clothes (I can't wait). You could try some mindfulness videos on YouTube. They could help you to be in the moment more. Good luck xx
