  1. Surgery on 10/25...already did. Couple of times Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm not judging you but this is what I would say to my own almost 18 year old son...if you are questioning this it has nothing to do with weight loss. There is some small voice telling you that there is a problem with drinking like that. It is binge drinking and is a problem not matter how old you are or what your weight issues are. 3. Two weeks out and been sweeping and vacuuming. Four kids and four dogs means it is never ending. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Shouldn't be a problem. Some start taking all the Vitamins and calcium right away. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Could be from a lack of fluids or calories. Are you getting enough Water and Protein each day? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App No, I am apsolulty not getting in enough fluids or protein I am still on liquids. Do you think that could effect me that severely? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Yes it absolutely can. Can you get in at least 2 Protein shakes per day? Also try drinking liquids at room temp or warm that may help them go down. If you can't do that you may need to call your doctor for some IV fluids . It sounds like you could be very dehydrated. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. Two weeks out. I have one regular cup with Splenda and a little non dairy creamer in the morning. I don't always drink it all but it hasn't bothered me at all and I don't count it in my Water for the day. I feel better and it also helps me have no constipation. I'm not advocating it just sharing my experience. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Try a warm broth... or even room temperature. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I am 11 days out and averaging 60g...two Protein shakes per day. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. The liquid diet is no picnic but helps you wrap your head around no solids after surgery. I would have totally gone home the same day if possible. I was very lucky and had no nausea and no trouble getting fluids in. I got very little sleep the night in the hospital and I was when I did I was dreaming of my own bed. 18. Starting my second week post op and I am so much more tired than last week. Not having any trouble drinking clears or getting 2 Protein shakes/day but my butt is worn out. Maybe too much excitement last week and this week it's catching up to me?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Mine are itching LIKE CRAZY yesterday and today! I put some neosporin on them but it doesn't seem to make much difference. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Mine was very quick and not a big deal. Drink a little liquid, stand while they X-ray you....turn to the other side and repeat. The total amount of contrast to drink was less than half a styrofoam cup. Didn't taste great but it was manageable. Nothing happened after. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. Only one week out and still on liquids. Candy was not even an option Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. I would probably just order the wonton Soup and eat the broth only. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. I came home on Wed and by Fri was driving. Can't really avoid it for long with 4 kids but I wasn't taking any narcotics during the day. Only took one pill before bed to help with soreness. Should add I felt completely normal and had no worries about my driving. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. I was sleeved on 10/25 and my absolute favorite saving grace of the last 6 days has been a large crockpot full of chicken broth that I made myself. Just buy some cheaper cuts of chicken skin and all and put it in the crockpot. Add and onion, celery, salt & pepper. Cook all day on low then use a strainer over a large storage container to strain the broth. It is so delicious and tastes like real soup just with no ingredients. I think without it I would be fairly miserable. Next I will look for a beef broth recipe. Best of luck to you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Also you can debone and freeze the chicken for when you can eat it. It will be super soft. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. Be very careful when combining meds containing acetaminophen. The MAX dose is 4000g per day total of all drugs combined. Acetaminophen can do a real number on your liver so just be very careful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
