As long as I wasn't taking the narcotic pain reliever, I was able to do it day 3 per my Surgeon, day 5 per my discharge papers so I split it and drove day 4. I felt good enough to drive. No dizziness no confusion, no uncoordination, no restrictions on movement in my neck arms feet and torso. But that's just me.

I came home on Wed and by Fri was driving. Can't really avoid it for long with 4 kids but I wasn't taking any narcotics during the day. Only took one pill before bed to help with soreness. Should add I felt completely normal and had no worries about my driving.

Dr said as soon as I was off narcotics. Well, I never had to take my Oxy at home, so I drove on day 4 when I was just dying to get out of the house.

Surgery was on a Tuesday. Home on Wednesday. In the car Friday running errands. I was clear to drive as soon as I stopped pain meds.
