New before/after..

And my newly acquired Deadpool shirt along with my long sleeved compression undershirt. Saw the movie yesterday and was totally rocking the fan gear. Best part about this, got both the t-shirt and compression shirt out of Walmart. Didn't even spend $20 for both shirt. Hell me and my wallet are totally digging this low cost for clothing thing. Both shirts are 1xl by the way if anyone was wondering. Still shrinking, yet looking way more taller than usual.

My sister showed me a picture of me at my highest weight of 347 lbs and until I saw this I couldn't see the difference, but now I can sitting at 205 lbs. and still have another 35-40 lbs. to go... I'm feeling blessed and thankful for my sleeve 8 months out

I got my very first high waisted bikini from Amazon on Monday, so y'all know I had to do a before and after! Can't wait for the beach in September

I have chronic Migraines and have used Imitrex, migrinal, etc as well as had Botox. Botox was amazing! I also avoid my triggers....
The best thing to do is do not go to just any neurologist. Go to headache.com and find someone Board Certified in headache medicine. They will help you find the correct treatment for you. Migraines deserve a sub specialist

I would have taken roasted chickpeas, nuts, string cheese, lentil chips, jerky... and Water or Vitamin water as the drink

So I have been eating a lot of popsicles lately. Last night I scared the crap out of myself. I started having difficulties speaking and thought "holy shit -I think I'm having a stroke"! Well it wasn't a stroke (Thank God) - I had a frozen tongue from popsicles!

My doctor requires a week of Clear Liquids to allow for healing. He is very conservative. Every doctor is different and you can always call to see if you can start your Protein Shakes early. I've been pretty woozy and faint so I started mine today instead of tomorrow with permission.

I'm 5 days post op and I am fairly hungry, especially when making food for the kids. I'm looking forward to Protein Shakes in 3 days!
I'm also very, very gurgly since yesterday. It's like a second wave of gas is grumbling through me. My stomach will not quiet down! My kids find this hilarious. Me, not so much haha!

Bwahahahahahaha! I'm with you! Today I stared at my husband while he was eating a turkey sandwich and kept asking him if it was good, what he put on it, and at the height of my weirdness, if I could smell it. I'm starting to feel like one of those vampire movies where the vampire has sworn off humans but is constantly around them.

I'm a psychologist and had the gastric sleeve surgery. The research on sleeve showed better effectiveness for weight loss in obese groups than dieting did. I don't know your history with food, so obviously would not make any recommendations for you. But, for me, I'm a stress eater and surgery is providing a tool to help me change my relationship with food. I'm also myself examining the factors that contribute to overeating and eating unhealthy foods and trying to address them.

I had surgery on 6/22 so I guess that puts me 5 days post op! I'm not in as much pain as I expected and I'm tolerating the clear liquid diet. My only real frustration is that I must have retained a lot of Fluid because I've gained 5 pounds since my surgery weight. Anyone else?

Are you taking an acid reducer/PPI? That should help. It's probably acid or head hunger and not real hunger. Drink more - try broth.

Out of surgery. Feeling great!! Gas pain is all pain I feel. I do suggest as soon as you can get up and walk. It helps greatly will gas pains.

I wear leggings constantly from Walmart, good price for me. They look good as my weight goes down. Then I rent clothes from an online site so I can change the sizes as I change and get fresh looks.
