  1. AMEN!!!!! Unfortunately not enough get out of the far left lane when those of us that wanna go 80 are behind them!!! The "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT" signs mean get the hell outta the way!!! Tonight was a standstill aka "parking lot" night. There were cops out so everybody had to look at the pretty blue cop lights like they'd never seen them before!!! :cursing:
  2. Try Boston traffic - that's some craaaaaaazy BS!!! Donna - is traffic so bad in Houston that it gets an extra k? :scared2::cursing:
  3. That was great!!! :smile2:
  4. Oh pls - you never ever miss an opportunity to call me a name...BRAT.
  5. More like: dork=you
  6. Ha! Like innards, I supposed! I had an audience. There was my surgeon, the assistant (?), and two students!!! As you all probably have realized, I am very easily amused. I looked at the "picture" and said, "Are those half circles the underwire on my bra?!?" My doctor asked if I wanted a picture of them!!! He tries so hard to remain professional but I'm always cracking jokes so he kids every once in a while! He had me swallow that liquid and completely filled my band. I thought I was gonna PB. It was eww! Once the doctor showed, I was in and out in probably 10-15 minutes!
  7. Heyyyy, I asked about you!

Today's first fill/adjustment appointment went well. I laid down on this table and the doctor injected a numbing agent. That stung a wee bit but not bad. He inserted something - maybe a needle(?) and then made that table vertical so that I would be standing. I drank some of the white liquid and he filled me completely so it was just sitting there above the band; eww! I felt like I had bad heartburn! Then he opened it up to watch the liquid go through. We did that routine a couple times and I also drank some water. He took whatever it was out and I got some gauze and a band-aid. Tada, bye bye. It was maybe 10-15 minutes. For lunch, I had a protein shake, half of this small pudding cup, and half of a cranberry juice and was FULL. Whew! I can definitely tell I'm adjusted now!!!

  10. Uh, lemme think - uh NO. Be honest, you're just jealous. Waaahhhhh, go SEC!!!!!!! We're gonna get a Three-Pete! Ewwwwwwwww, wtmi.
  11. PJTP - I had my first fill today! Very weird experience seeing the liquid going through my innards!!!
  12. ROFL!!!!!!! :wink2:
  13. At 42, I have no gray which makes me very happy. I would so color if I had any though! I am really not a shopper but stopped at an outlet on my drive back from Tennessee. I got an LB sweater, shoes, and 2 pair of gloves for $87.40! woot!
  14. Don't blame Ceradad for the football talk as I brought it up first. I watch more football T'giving and Cmas than I do the entire season!!! Gah
  15. That isn't you in the avatar?
  16. I figured Ceradad would find his way in here eventually. Welcome! Football, football, soooooo much football at my parents'! Go Ga Tech, Tide, Vols!
  17. Where ya been, BBK???
  18. Plain - you had to be taught how to multi-post. The student does NOT surpass the teacher. Dream on. We have an intelligent man in here??? :crying: Bahahaha - Slim called Plain "ridiculous", Slim called Plain "ridiculous"!!!! There is a God. :wink2: My retort: "Are you still stupid? Oh yeah, obviously!" or "Fat can be temporary; stupid/ugly is forever!!" My retort: Hmm, I don't remember asking you. 0:-) Short drive? That is beyond rude!!!!!!! Sent them a bill for the extra food! Beth - I know you didn't mean that as funny but it struck me as funny. I want to say "Slim hopes so" but that would be disrespectful so I'm behaving this once. Happy Thanksgiving, Americanos! Happy uh Friday (right?), Australians! Beth/Luluc - you'll appreciate this. I had just gotten to my cousin's for lunch and some commercial had played and another cousin's husband facetiously said, "Well that'll all get better now that Obama is prez." This poor child doesn't know me very well b/c I turned to him and said, "Now that the out-of-towners are here, this house is no longer 100% Republican. I'm really loaded for bear for a political discussion so I'd really drop it if I were you!!" From then on, we discussed his precious (almost) 3 year old. Seriously, 2 average looking people had the cutest child!!! Yes I'm mean. And PS - no, I'm not spoiling for a political discussion on here; I thought B+L would recognize and laugh at my smart ass response, hopefully.
  19. Promise?!?!?!?!`` WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Trixie didn't; I did! :grouphug: Deeeeep breaths, SlimN....I dont know who the quote is from but the jist is: God gives you your family members b/c you would never choose them as friends! I have traveled every T'giving and Christmas of my life. My cousin asked me what I was cooking. I said, "I travel; I don't cook." Heaven forbid they ever travel. :grouphug: My surgeon wanted my first fill to be this week. I lied and said I would be out of town all week. That's all I need; to PB in front of my extended family who know nothing about Trixie (my band). Wayyyyyy too much work! My brother is a vegetarian and it can drive me batty at times. Sorry, SlimN. Did we really need to know about Dr. Nosepicker? Ewwwwww! My brother drooled over hamburgers one July 4th. Y'all really want meat; yer just too stubborn to admit it! and kidding! SUPER MULTI-POSTER!!! BUWAHAHAHA!
  20. Thank you Kat!!! I'm at my parents' for Thanksgiving. My mother has leg cramps and RLS. She asked if she could put 3 bars of soap in her bed!!! She just now went and put half bars of soap in her pockets. I really hope this works for her; that would be awesome!!! If that works for her, we'll work on her mother next. :grouphug: Thanks! PS - I presume that the brand of soap doesn't matter, right?
  21. Eh, it's still basically still close enough. Oh, I'll be in God's country (TN) tomorrow; woohoo!
  22. Posting to say I got my haircut today; woohoo! I love getting my hair cut. For me, it's very long...maybe 3" above my bra (brunette). It was basically all one length with a very few layers. She cut in more layers that begin at my lips. Woot!
  23. I'm so confused. The point is only to put it b/w the fitted sheet and mattress pad and it wards against the evils of cramps or does he "do" something with the bar of soap? We'll need to change the name of the thread to Meez! You are so bad!!!
  24. I don't lie about Scott Weiland. Um, no, I was at a stoplight and posting from my bberry, tyvm!!! You are a novice, sir.
