Today's first fill/adjustment appointment went well. I laid down on this table and the doctor injected a numbing agent. That stung a wee bit but not bad. He inserted something - maybe a needle(?) and then made that table vertical so that I would be standing. I drank some of the white liquid and he filled me completely so it was just sitting there above the band; eww!   I felt like I had bad heartburn! Then he opened it up to watch the liquid go through. It's Halloweenie! Since I'm still on liquids, I bought no candy for trick or treaters. I had one come up though my light wasn't on. Ignored. Then I had some middle schooler come up at 10:50pm. WTH!   So anyway, I have one week left on liquids and it's REALLY getting old!!! I know my stomach is healing and all that but still - I wanna chew my damn shoe.   It's funny b/c I'm craving a scrambled egg and I don't even eat eggs that often. So I weighed two nights ago and had only lost one pound - bitter! This morning, I weighed and I'm down 10 pounds; woohoo!!! The big incision is still a bit sore but considering I'm 5 days out; feeling very lucky! :confused:   PS - vanilla protein shakes stink

I had such an easy time of considering what I was worrying about! The most "pain" I am in is where I assume my port is (biggest bandage) but it's more sore than real pain. I didn't hit the morpheine much at all - mostly to sleep! My surgery was at 8am-ish and I was in a room alert by 11ish (I think). I remember a nurse coming in around 2pm and was surprised how lucid I was.   Oh, back up, the poor woman that tried to do my IV...it's a good thing I'm an empathetic sort b/c I reallyyyyyy wanted
