  11. Hi there... Am I to late? Lol... How's it going there in OC? I am in Copenhagen, Denmark. I work out with Krav Maga, TRX and Boxing four times a week. And I ride about 15 km per day. I struggle to eat properly though and to get adequate nutrition.. Had some hair loss which scared the crap out of me so I am really focused on Vitamin... I take a daily berocca and give myself a monthly vitamin B shot. Losing weight pretty well ... Getting stronger every day... But I would love to do a catch up with a PT who actually has a lap band. So much to share and ask advice on What do you say? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. Hi there it's so you don't interfere with the way the band works.. Drinking Water when eating lets the food go through too quickly... It doesn't allow stimulation of the vagus nerve which is a huge part of how the process works. U should have a drink ten mins b4 and then wait for 30 mins after Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  18. So how's it going? I am almost at goal weight but had a major inflammation and then the band tightened up where I couldn't swallow Water... Now had all Fluid out and will be like that for a month. Actually I feel pretty good. Keeping up the exercise and yes eating a bit more but not too bad really. I was thinking I might have a month off from fluids every year. So... Anyone else out there from September 15? How's it going for you? Do u love ur band? Or hate it? Or love hate it like I was for a while... I love it again and it really is a wonderful tool.. I see it as a safety belt for my tummy lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hi there. I am in Copenhagen and will be in UK near Wales in July. I love my band. Have had to take Fluid out for a month as had bad blockage and then inflammatory reaction but still good!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Hi. I recently had massive blockage and had to have all my Fluid removed. Feel so much better now I can eat and drink semi normally. Bit scared about a month without fluid and all that entails but I feel so much better now I just intend to increase my exercise.. Now I have some energy again...Does anyone have a story about having to be unfurled for a while? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. Lol... So went to hospital today. Did two swallow tests one b4 and one after... Such a difference. The first one the band totally blocked. No wonder I was nauseous... And I even vomited back up the first swallow.... Oops. Doc took all the Fluid out.. 5 cc and a half... But I think band tight from blockage and then inflammation.... Anyway as he was taking the fluid out I could feel everything getting better and better. Thanks for all the support. I am going to be fluid free for a month and then I will start slowly again ... Focus more on exercise and just keep the band in play in the background cheers for now Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Hey I just saw I wrote barbaric review not bariatric review ..
