How long did you guys all wait for insurance approval? My paperwork gets faxed into my insurance tomorrow. I am hoping it will take only a week. My doc's office said most likely it would be two...but they've never delt with my insurance before so they don't know for sure.:tt2:

I was told to get a pill crusher.

How long did it take most of you get get your approval/find out if you were approved? Did most of you get a letter before the docs office called or what? =/

My mom makes this too but she adds pineapple to the recipe as well. I loooooove it.

Lindsey told me if I get a letter before them to just call and tell them and then we would set up my other appts. I could bring the letter with me so they could see before they got their letter. Why did your mother get turned down the first time? Is your mother planning on having the surgery around the first or 2nd week of November like me and does she come on here?

I have no more appts until after approval so this 1 to 2 weeks is going to go sloooooow. Ugh. But yes I am excited. I hope he puts 3 cc's in mine at surgery too...does he do that for everyone?

What kind of diet is your surgeon putting you on for preop? Mine will be a Protein shake for Breakfast, a Protein Shake for lunch, and a small amount of lean meat for dinner with veggies if desired. This will be for 2 weeks.

this is a 6 month supervised diet mostly for insurance purposes to be approved. this isnt the preop diet LOL
