I was just sleeved 3 months ago, along with my wife. We're good, but I've definitely changed. I don't put up with people's crap as much which has made my relationships with family, and my staff strained. It has made my staff respect me more but my family isn't quite as healthy and they are fighting against my new found voice.

I'm 30 years old, I was 291 lbs before surgery. I never really thought I could lose the weight. I'm now 186 lbs and still losing. I was sleeved 3/28/16, so 6 months and a few days ago.. have lost 104 lbs so far. Good luck to you!

I'm two years out, the other day I was talking to the librarian of the school I work at about having pictures taken. I told him that Before I lost weight I hated having my picture taken, but now I don't mind. He said" what you've lost weight?" I said " 100 pounds !" He said what? "I don't remember you being fat!" I had to say thank you and try not to laugh.

Usually if you join a gym they have a free assessment and intro type thing where they will explain different machines and show you how they work

I LOVE Brussel sprouts and eat them at least once per week. My kids HATE the way they smell when I cook em I usually either use fresh ones and cut them in halves or really small frozen ones. Sprinkle a little olive oil, Kosher salt and pepper and roast them for 30-45 minutes. Delish!!

I tried the Quest Protein Bars before surgery and I'm not a fan. Besides, 240 calories seems like a lot of calories for an evening snack, even if there is a fair amount of Protein in there.

Finally!!! Sleeved 3/28, down 92 lbs and finally hit that beautiful onderland! I've been stuck at exactly 200 for a week! Put of all the ounces I've lost, these 2 were the most exciting and hard!
