  2. We all have NO doubt about that!:biggrin1: Will of a lion!
  3. Sometimes I wish I could do bread. Then I remember how much bread I ate, and I am glad I can't.
  4. Gadgetlady, You know, you should stop beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.:heh: Come on, don't mince words... what do you really think?:biggrin1: Just kiddin ya!
  5. It's OK... Go on... post your filth! :) :Banane48: heh heh heh We love it on this thread!:heh: More dirt... more dirt... more dirt...:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  6. Actually, My daughter ran in and told me when I got home from work. They had been shopping, and had unpacked their wares, when my wife noticed what she bought by acident. My wife told my daughter what they were, and my daugher said " those would go in your butt crack, they're Butt-crack undies". When I walked in the door, she was singing, "Mom got buttcrack undies... mom got buttcrack undies..."
  7. Captain feathersword! The Wiggles! My daughter used to love them! Oh, God... now I am thinking "fruit salad... yummy yummy... Fruit Salad... yummy yummy..." Arrgh... can't get it out of my head now... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  8. Heh heh heh... My 5 year-old daughter calls these "Butt Crack undies". Just made me remember that. My wife bought a pair by "accident", and never wore them, no matter how many times I requested.
  9. Ringling Bros. called me, and they want to use my old drawers for a new big top.
  10. Lizz, I'm just razzin' ya! Looks to me like everything does go on this thread! Honestly, I don't think there is a TMI on this one! BTW, it was a cool post, don't remove it!
  11. Or at least free fills!
  12. According to my bandster rules... if ya gotta chew it... IT IS NOT A MUSHIE. The sorbet, yep, or blended up... yep. But regular watermellon has to be chewed up, and that disqualifies it as a mushie. Just the 2 cents from my doc's program. BTW, for those watching their sugar intake, Watermellon is a VERY HIGH glycemic fruit. Berries are usually the best choice to those watching their sugar intake.
  13. Yeah, you could melt some sugar-free chocolate on it and freeze it, good idea! Gotta try that with my daughter. She loves bananas!
  14. That is SOOOOOOO cool! you'll be a real celebrity! yea... we know a famous person! Hollywood here you come! So, the big questions is... What is George Clooney really like?
  15. the only ones Icould palate are the Atkins ones premixed in the can. And they had to be ICE COLD! Any of the powders tasted to me like chalk.
  16. Calories are one thing, nutrition is another. The menu you point out is just plain NOT HEALTHY. even if you could eat it, you shouldn't. The band is not a miracle cure-all. You have to look at it as PART of the big picture... a TOOL that will help you to follow a new and healthier diet. This should not just be about getting thinner, it should be about getting HEALTHIER... and that diet won't accomplish it. You really should see a nutritionist about starting a healthy eating plan after the band. Too many times we hear about people saying they are not losing or are losing slowly on the band, and for many it is because they are not changing their eating habits. Those habits are NOT just about the quantity of food, but the TYPE of food. Look at your whole picture... WHAT you eat... HOW MUCH you eat... HOW MUCH you exercise... all of these factors contribute, and the band is only a quantity tool... not a quality tool. that is up to you.
  17. WOW. that's great. What an accomplishment. You sound like you have a great doc, he is very supportive, as he should be!
  18. any chance I can get in on this club?:huggie: I know I started poorly, but I'm being good now, and you are all so inspiring. I was 371 in November, 2005. Was banded on the 17th. As of yesterday, i weigh 221. Down 150. My goal is 189, 32 lbs to go to goal, but I think I am gonna revise that goal. I think I'll be OK at 200-199 (I really wanna see the 1 on the scale. best thing is I started with a 58 waist, am now wearing a 36. if I can get down to a 34, then I can say I lost 2 feet from my waist... that would be cool.
  19. They also do not shave their armpits.:heh: Ewwww, so let them be thin. I'll take a girl with curves anyway... especially if she shaves her pits... ewwwwww heh heh heh
  20. very true.
  21. Used to sell Mitsubishi's, then Ford's. I know exactly what you are talking about. Also, never drank so much, Beers or martinis at lunch, drinks after work. Long days, hard partying. Boy, I could tell you a couple stories, but some of them would need to be on the XXX thread.
  22. hey, for the emotional eating, don't hesitate to consider some counseling. it can help. My doc actually has you go through some before you can get the surgery as one of his pre-requisites. you don't do it, you don't get the band from him. Sometimes the therapist may recommend the band with continued counseling, or may even recommend against it. Just my 2 cents. It can be a very vital part of your weight loss program.
  23. Here's to you looking like you are below the poverty level!:heh:
  24. Thanks Lins. I have professional head shots coming ahortly, and will post one next week. Actually, I may need to take a poll as to which one to use for my acting resume. Muchos Gracias.
