What is QVC?

I know this sounds crazy... but all I drink now is WATER... and to treat myself I have iced tea, but I crave water now. You can never drink too much!

What kind of new show? Please keep us posted so we can know when to look for you on TV!

Trish... I feel really bad that you are so down... BUT... didn't your Dr. tell you that if you want to lose weight you are going to have to eat right? My Dr. told us at the seminar that this wasn't a "Quick, Miracle" cure... If that was the case every obese person in the US would be signing up for loans. I know better than anyone how hard it is to stay away from junk, but if I can do it, so can you!!! I read about a lot of people posting here saying that one little bite won't hurt and a lot of folks don't deny themselves of anything... Well, I am NOT that strong!!! I just COMPLETELY keep it away from me or I will consume it all. I hope you are feeling better now, and I know you can do it... we all can!!! (just went back and read ILuvHarleys post... now she is a strong woman that can take a few bites!!! Look at all the weight she has lost and how great she looks!!!)

Jessiebear I have been wanting to post for a while also, but when I saw the bananas, I knew I just had to. Our husbands sound like they could be brothers!!! Well, guess we will just have to suck it up (no pun intended) and deal with the tiredness and get over it

FunnyDuddies~ I know what you mean about what will it be like after you are 100lbs more lighter. My hubby keeps asking what in the world we are going to do if I keep losing... He just can't get over the way my body has changed. I am really glad that he can notice it. He has always told me I was sexy and loved every inch of me... but I always told him he would love it even more if I was under 200. It will be like he is getting a new wife!

ShellyJ I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a photographer for our wedding... so this is what I did. I got 2 ladies that were close to the family to take pictures. One took black and white and the other color. We have over 1,000 pictures and it didn't cost us anything!!! Just the film and processing... If I would do it over again, I would just get digital cameras and take pics. But, I do know that a lot of people like the fancy expensive photos, so it is really what kind of pics you want.

Have you thought about or heard of Dr. Spivak? I am kind of partial to him, but I just have heard some things about Spiegel that I,myself, do not like. www.bandmd.com is Dr. Spivak's site. He is JUST AWESOME!

Hey Kathy! I was told by Dr. Spivak's office that if you go 4 weeks without losing to come in for a fill. They are doing all of the fills now at the SurgeryCenter under the fluorscopy... Actually, the Dr. that works with Spivak did my fill (can't remember her name)(she is also banded) I really liked her. They say she is almost better than Spivak at doing the fills. Maybe you could call the office and see what they think. They are usually very helpful as I am sure you know!

I don't know if there are "rules" about posting this... but WOW!!! only 38 pounds gone and I am a new woman (so my hubby says) Don't get me wrong, we have always had great chemistry and NO problem whatsoever doing it when and where we want... But I am just about to DIE with my DH new found love of my body!!! Anyone else plum worn out from the "new attention"???

Call your Dr's office and ask them. I called and my Doc said that if they haven't come off after 10 days to gently take them off in the shower if they look ready.

Wallace~ Welcome to LapBandTalk. I think you should check out Dr. Hadar Spivak. He is located near the medical center. His website is www.bandmd.com I did not have to have my gall bladder removed, but the lady that had surgery right before me did. He is an EXCELLENT Dr. and I know that he does both procedures at the same time. Also he will repair hernias, if you have one. I have NEVER heard of Dr. Wongsa??? Give Dr. Spivak's office and call and try attending one of his seminar's. You can ask him all the questions that you need. Good Luck and keep us informed on what you decide!

My hubby and I watched her on 20/20 the other night. We both think that she had the band. It seemed to me that she lost the weight more slowly than a bypass patient would have. The lady interviewing her was being a b!tch though. I don't really care for Star, but I think she looks great now and if she had surgery that is her own business... BUT like someone else said... she tries to get all this publicity for everything and wants to pick and choose certain secrets??? I think being in the public eye is just something the rich and famous must deal with.
