  1. What? Oh man. I've already been to the salon and had highlights for summer. I'll let you know if I die [emoji23] Hope this isn't true!
  2. I'm only two months out and I feel wonderful! I'm exercising and eating healthy and my hunger is so easily satisfied with protein. You might not be thrilled the first few days but it gets so much better and so quickly. I was petrified before surgery. Go in with a positive attitude and before you know it you'll be on the other side and happy to start your new healthy life! Best of luck to you and so keep us posted!
  3. Glad they found the issue. Do those exercises faithfully! Feel better.
  4. Me too. It's came back right away. I feel hunger and it's fairly intense. Then I eat a small portion and it's gone.
  5. Then I'm doomed! I'm doing yoga and as bad as I am at it I might as well save my fat pants! [emoji23]
  6. Baritastic and LoseIt are my faves. Currently only using Baritastic. I like it a lot!
  7. I ate the wrong foods on vacation too (2 months post op). Fortunately the restriction prevented me from overeating. I gained 4 lbs and went right back to logging, exercising, and being vigilant. I lost that 4 lbs plus 2 more in less than a week. Try to just enjoy your vacation. Assuming you don't take many vacations you should be ok!
  8. This post makes me happy! Yay to a better life!!
  9. I haven't found one thing that's bothered me. Admittedly I'm not veering off plan. But the stuff on plan I can eat it all. Chicken thigh 3oz at a time easy. Eggs yep! I guess it's good? Haven't decided.
  10. Gas-X doesn't help with the CO2 gas, you have to walk for that. If you have actual in your stomach gas it may help. I took it once.
  11. So many people go alone. Also, when you get your date you could ask if anyone is going when you are. I readnof a couple people who met up there through here. Granted you're both patients but you'd have someone to commiserate with.
  12. Shut your ass! That's exciting!
  13. Do you enjoy these changes? I know change is difficult and to me it sounds exciting to try new hair, earrings, etc but I can see it being disarming too. Congrats. I enjoy your posts.
  14. Wish they did plastic surgery too!
  15. I thought that too but lots of people start speeding up around month three. Maybe because they're more active. I'm a slow loser too. Slower than you. It's ok to have a day but if you wanna succeed just follow your plan. It'll come off.
  16. You have been through so much. So it's healed? I can't wait to hear how you do on liquids. I just feel so bad for you. You're a strong person. xo
  17. I'm saving one pair of jeans to do what Jess did. I have two bags filled already to head to Goodwill. I'll drive around with them in my car for a month first cuz that's how I roll [emoji23]
  18. Wow you guys! Truly inspiring! I'm a May sleever so it makes me excited to see how well you guys are doing! Congrats
  19. I just went and ordered the caramel, chocolate, and pumpkin spice! Thanks for the recommendation.
  20. It took me 8 weeks to get my energy back (and then some)! My pain was very manageable but that lack of energy was hard. I'm 53, if you're younger you may bounce back faster. Probably best that you cancelled the festival. Focus on your new life is needed for a few weeks.
  21. I almost wish I couldn't eat anything. It's a blessing and a curse.
  22. Yup. This was exactly what my surgeon told me to do if I felt sick. Hope it helps the OP
