    So excited today! I ran on the treadmill today for the first time in my life!! I was scared of falling and my butt cheeks felt like they were going to fall off, but I did it!!!

    I am over a year out and in maintenance. I do about 100g of Protein a day. While I was losing I kept my carbs under 50g now I keep them under 100g, anywhere from 50 to 80 usually . I've added healthy carbs in only, fruit , veggies , and Peanut Butter.

    I've been celebrating little milestones with a new piece of make up that I've been wanting.
    I hit my first BIG milestone of losing 100 lbs right before Christmas, and celebrated by starting my tattoo! It's in my profile photo, my phoenix. I go back in 2-3 weeks for the colour to be added.

    Definitely buying a whole new closet of clothes!! I wore baggy clothes and leggings while losing and saving up my cash. When I got to goal it was so rewarding to get rid of everything in my closet and buy all new ! Now my goal to is run in a 5k in June , I started running recently, after that I'm planning a vacation, somewhere warm

    These two people have very different lives, the one on the left hated Mondays because he had to go to work and didn't feel well because he only had 3 hours of sleep due to the fact his sleep apnea tried to kill him every night. The one on the right cannot wait to wake up after a great night sleep, to get to the gym and sculpt his guns.

    That's when people like us (people who don't want to sabotage our own success) scroll by and leave it be. Why stress about someone else's non compliance, they will either figure it out or fail all on their own. And by posting on their thread we are just giving them ammunition to post stupid stuff again to get the right minded people bent just for sh*ts and giggles. Whether they are a troll or just looking for validation why give them the pleasure. That's how I feel anyways

    Like most suggested I started with a C25K app. For me I signed up for a 5K as a goal and knew I had to train to get there. Now I'm addicted to running races. I'm not fast by any means, but I enjoy races more than just hitting the open road solo.

    Falling is a fear that we all have when we are obese. We can seriously injure ourselves. Running is actually less dangerous to joints and etc. than some of the other things you have mentioned, if you start small and add distance steadily as you are ready. My ankles are unstable, so I used to really worry. Running actually helped me to feel much more stable and less likely to turn an ankle, both while running and all the time. You strengthen the muscles and tendons and bones that you use regularly. Just make sure you find a surface that is regular, like a track or well-maintained soft-surface trail, to start. Roads are harder on joints, and sidewalks are really bad. Only run on those after you are much more used to the impact.
    Be sure to use shoes that are relatively new. Running shoes should be changed every three to six months of running, depending on usage. Look up the manufacturer's recommendations on the shoes you get, and don't use them too long. That is what can wear out your feet and your joints.

    Thank you so much ! I did it today! I did it!! I'm so excited! It took me 30 minutes at the gym to get the courage up, but once I got on the treadmill I was determined. I warmed up for 5 minutes then ran 1 minute walked 1 1/2 minutes and so on for 25 minutes, and I didn't fall!! I even let go of the rail a few times. It felt great and I can't wait to do it again! Although my butt cheeks did feel like they were going to fall off, and I wondered what they looked like as I was running

    I was telling a co worker of mine that in my yoga class I pulled a muscle and have back pain from it, so she said "you should just go back to being fat, you had less problems " .. really wtf!!
