I was sleeved in December, started with a bmi of 31.
Since i have lost about 35 pounds and my bmi is now 25
I am still losing and its hard to gain.. But i also have a family history of heart issues and thought this would be best..
i have to say it times its hard, i reached my goal and it just keeps coming off.... it hard to gain when you can only eat about 1/4 of what you used to.
BUT its WORTH it

Someone might get revision from the lapband to the sleeve and only have 35 pounds to lose.
What kind of weight loss results.

I am asking what kind of results are people getting with the ballon, HOW MUCH WEIGHT HAVE YOU LOST.

I never stop drinking it.... less than a week after the surgery i was drinking it, never was an issue

Regardless of what you read hear. its all up to you, try it when your ready and if you have an issue than stop.... I am not a Dr. but dont think it will hurt... It had NO affect on me

I had the lapband and it worked great for me, lost 50, than it slipped, soon after it slipped I had the sleeve, my bmi was still low when i had the sleeve. I started to gain the weight and the Dr. got the approval for the sleeve and I did it.
Now 5 months in I 5'4 145.... losing to much weight....

What kind of results are people getting...

I have a low BMI (27) and was approved by insurance, But I had the lap-band which failed, so i had what they call revision sugary.
I can tell you I did have trouble finding a doctor to do the sleeve with a low BMI..... It was not as easy as I thought it would be

I would not stockpile.... You will be able to get back to what you used to do after a week, ( it took me two days) you can go to the store and get what you need...
dont stockpile because you might not like something and you will be stuck with it...

Did you ever find out what caused this to happen ?

It's a little deceiving, for most there really is no pain, you will start the liquid diet. Your stomach is swollen (still no pain) but because of this its bigger, so when you start to drink and for some start to eat, you dont feel any restriction. Than about 4 weeks out the swollen is gone and you start to feel the difference.
i just started my 4 week diet where i can eat really food and I did feel the restriction.
