Just got word today that I'm the 25 th too! This is day 7 of my 2 week diet. I'm ready for this part to be over for sure! Do either of you have small children? I am a stay at home mom with no babysitter options. Not sure how I'm going to keep my 2 year old off of me when I get home?

May 25th!!

Oh my stars! After crazy ins messes and a nurse strike they are changing my surgery date to this Wednesday! I'm so excited! It seems unreal and there are so many details to work out. Like my hubby finding work coverage since he needs to be with the kids. But I trust all of that to God and I just can't wait for the beginning!

May 25th!!

I'm scheduled for June 30 but because of a possible ins change I might be sleeved in May! This is day 2 of the 2 week liquid diet for me...that may not even be used. It's hard with no sure surgical outcome knowing that I might have to do it again next month.

I called today. The ins rep said it generally takes 10 business days for approval. She said that they sometimes get delayed if a more urgent case needs review. She said mine is in the review stage and that that was good!

My genius idea came to me one day when I was working on a project with my usual "astuteness" and dropped a glob of hot glue onto the shank of my mother's ring! By the time I got the hot mess off my burned finger, it had cooled around the shank and I had a resized ring! Yep, I'm a genius!!!

Roll the "bottom" of your ring through a glob of hot glue. As the glue cools, it will leave an invisible ring guard that won't scratch your ring nor your finger. If you ever want to permanently resize your ring, the hot glue will peel gently off.

Got all messed up in January so after a lot of changes I have to see a new nut at least once but the surgeon was all for me being scheduled! He told me I was his dream patient of the day. We''ve been through some crazy stuff the past few years but God is always showing me how faithful He is. "Oh, how I love Jesus"[emoji444]

Where is everyone? I am so thankful that He is working in my life. Through a big change in ins and medical care transfer but also in other areas.

I think women are very different in this sort of stuff. I'd have hugged too if I connected with her.

@@WLSResources/ClothingExch Thank you so much! I indeed was excited about opportunity that I have and I wasn't afraid to let her know it. I answered her questions as honestly as I could and when she asked me questions like what support system do I have? and what kind of complications can occur post surgery? I impressed her with just how much homework I had done in preparation for this entire process. All the same I am very happy to have gotten past this stage of the process.

@@Wonderkind My thoughts exactly!!!! I explained to my husband that I didn't see anything wrong with it but the way he put it had me doubting whether I had did something wrong. After sitting and talking to her I felt some kind of trust enough to give her a hug in thanks for her time talking to me. This was a pre-surgery evaluation but it felt like good therapy to talk to someone who had an outside perspective on what I was there for and what brought me to her office. It was uplifting to say the very least.
