  1. I’m glad to be back in here too. My vsg was on 5/25/2016. I got pregnant and had my daughter 8/14/17. I love my baby but it really messed up my sleeve and as of a couple weeks ago I’m almost back to my surgery weight. I went back to basics and have lost down to 189. (I was 200 on surgery day). Who couldn’t use the prayer of brothers and sisters in Christ!
  2. Is the fb group still around for May 2016 vsg folks?
  3. He may be able to take a day or two but it will be a struggle. We are hoping to maybe get it on a Friday when he has a weekend off anyway? That way he could take off Friday and Monday but really get 4 days off. Not sure though[emoji53]
  4. I am now waiting for ins. Approval. I have a question though... When I get out of the hospital I'll have my 2year old and 6 year old to care for alone while my husband is at work. Any suggestions? My son-the 2 yo- climbs on me, he's very clingy, any ideas what to do? (We just moved here and we don't know anyone).
  5. Loving it! The house we are renting is HUGE. An old house with lots of built ins. We lost both my Mom and one of our twin sons two years ago and so to be in a new place is an amazing change. It's brought on some unexpected grief too (I didn't expect to feel like I was leaving my Mom behind and I guess that triggered a rogue grief wave for Simon too). We were 7 hours from the hospital I was to have the surgery at (abbott Northwestern in MInneapolis) now I'm only an hour and a half away! How are you doing? You are at maintenance?
  6. Sorry, we moved to a new city so I got behind on a lot of social stuff. My ins. Got all messed up in January so after a lot of changes I have to see a new nut at least once but the surgeon was all for me being scheduled! He told me I was his dream patient of the day. We''ve been through some crazy stuff the past few years but God is always showing me how faithful He is. "Oh, how I love Jesus"[emoji444]
  7. Where is everyone? I am so thankful that He is working in my life. Through a big change in ins and medical care transfer but also in other areas.
