  1. Does not being able to have sex but being really horny make u guys sad? I can't explain it but I have this super high sex drive and noone to do it with and after so long it is starting to get to me... I feel depressed about it even.
  2. I started having weight problems around the age of 12. My son was born when I was pretty heavy at 200lbs. I was young and short, so 200 was a lot for me at that age. He is pretty active and at a healthy weight. He does love to eat candy and ice cream, but I don't usually allow much sweets. We do not have salty snacks like chips in the house. He likes to drink Sprite, but I only allow it once or twice a day.
  3. I can't get a band until I can figure out how to pay for it myself, so I thought I should join Jenny Craig or something. After finding out the cost of JennY Craig, I was very dissapointed I can not afford it. I went online and looked around and found that ediets has a 'alternative to jenny craig diet'. I signed up for $15 a month. The diet planner creates a meal plan based on everything I can find in the grocery store, and it includes lots of frozen and canned foods that can be heated in the microwave. It gives me an entire shopping list of things I need for that week. I am so excited. It really doesn't seem to be all that expensive. I can probably get away with spending $50 a week on the diet groceries if I plan ahead. The ediets website also offers weekly check in to keep track of the weight loss etc. I am excited!
  4. I like country music  I like R&B too ...and soft rock, and bamboo flute meditation music, and christian pop, and Linkin Park, and Euro Dance, and lots and lots more. I do have to say, a song like 'I love this bar' and 'Redneck Yacht Club' will be always on the top of my playlist. I love country!
  5. I am in a relationship for the last few months and its mostly good except for things like: He is a 29 year old man who thinks farting is fuuny. Burping is too. Spending a thousand dollars on the latest xbox is fine, but buying Cereal that isn't on sale is unheard of. He likes cute lingerie. Ok, so I must wear sexy lingerie to get sum... aren't I enough?!?! Damnit, it's ME that he touches and plays with, not my undies! And they come off anyway. *sigh* He's not too bad though, just a little odd. And he has a secret affair with super spicy foods.
  6. He is precious! I love babies, but looking at them makes me want to have more
  7. If you have mineral makeup, maybe dust some on top to cover them up? I rarely get pimples anymore, maybe a couple here and there once a month or so, and I am sure it's because I switched to mineral makeup, so I wouldn't worry about aggrivating the area with it.
  8. When I was little I found a spider in the toilet. I still look before I take a seat. I am always afraid of scary movies, and the commercials on TV freak me out. After I watched 'the ring', I sat in my room and stared at the floor while thinking about it. I couldn't sleep for about a week. Then I made the mistake of letting my ex talk me into seeing 'the ring 2' at the movies... another sleepless week. I am also afraid of ghosts, spiders, roaches, basements, mirrors, and overall just evil stuff. I absolutely love sleeping if there is lots of people around, I feel so safe and sleep like a baby. I hate sleeping when I'm home alone.
  9. I put on sexy undies, dress up, do my hair and makeup, nails, then spritz on sexy perfume, go out someplace with a lot of men. I like to go dancing at a night club.
  10. So this morning I noticed I have new stretch marks. It wouldn't be so bad if they were in the usual spots, like my boobies, lower back, etc. Nooooo this was on my upper arms, and not like the back or by the armpit, this was on the front of the arm. Also, I found one right on the top of my shoulder. My beautiful round shoulder that I used to love showing off with flirty tops now has a nasty ugly stretch mark on it. Gosh, this is terryfying. How do I stop the stretch marks? I'm afraid of ruining my whole body and even when I lose weight I will look scarred :cry :help:
  11. I have a fancy scale I got as a present for myself when I decided to lose weight. Now, I hide it under the couch. I haven't touched it in months. Hate that piece of $hi3t.
  12. Undies, I'm an undie junkie. I must have at least 50-60 pairs of cute (uncomfortable) undies. Maybe 10 pair of well fitting, full coverage, grannie panties.
  13. We all have that one piece of clothing we can't do without. Some would say it's pantyhose, others say it's a thong. What about you? What is the one piece of clothing you must have in your closet, and as soon as it's ruined you run to the store for another? Why do you love it so? I say, have at least one great pair of sexy jeans. You can put it on with a nice jacket and head out to a fancy lunch. You can pair it with a flirty top and go clubbing. Looks great with heels too.
  14. That's great DeLarla. It's very inspiring to see you succeed without the band. My insurance decided not to cover it anymore (after I did all the work trying to set it up) and I decided I will lose weight without a Lap Band. It's been very hard so far, but seeing you do it proves weightloss is possible, and gives me hope! Thanks for sharing.
  15. The weirdest thing in my fridge is a big block of yeast. Not the dry kind, it's a big nasty smelly block of gooey yeast. I don't know how it even got in my fridge.
  16. Go with your gut! Serve the papers, and explain that you will allow visitations no problem as long as you are present. You have to do what is best for your son. My son has not seen his father since he was a baby and I intend to keep it that way. No example is better than a bad one. Keep your son away from the alcoholic. JMO
  17. I don't like my dad very much, but I would invite him. He is my dad afterall. I would not let him walk me down the isle though! Thankfully I have my son for that Your mom is helping pay for the wedding, and her feelings should be considered more than your dad's.
  18. A few years ago I went on a big diet and lost over 70lbs. During that time I was such a happy person, had so much confidence, great self esteem. I wanted to be with my friends all the time, had fun being a mom, felt I was deserving of romance in my life. I wore adorable clothes, short skirts, sexy shoes, did my hair cute every day. I was hot, and I was happy. Then I was so dumb and gained it all back, plus another 50! Oh another thing, after losing lots of weight, I got a cute tattoo on my butt. Maggie
  19. I hated my job so much that I started my own business on the weekends. I started with just 1 client. Now I have 2 employees and we clean about 70 houses a month, plus some commercial accounts.
  20. Ok girls, I need your opinions. My period hasn't come around in months. SInce July 05, I have had only one period, that was in September. I am not pregnant. What do you think it could be? Just some info to help me figure this out: I'm still very young (23) I have given birth before, my son is 7 years old. I am pretty heavy, but I have regular excercise and eat good. Not too little, not too much. I am not banded. I am not going through additional stress. Life is pretty normal, except for not having a period. I'm starting to miss having it. Girls, please help me! Any advice will be great!

Alovelylady, Hope your procedure goes well. Don't forget that you can gain back lost pouds as soon as you go back on solids. Don't feel guilty about it, it's time for healing, not losing! Good luck!

Here is my best friend and I.
  23. Oh guys thanks so much for all the replies! I'm so glad I found this forum, you guys are a wonderful team and I'm very thankful for each response. I'm going to call the doc today and make an appointment!
  24. Hey guys, I'm pretty new here on LapBandTalk and have not been banded yet. I looked deep into the lap band, into the problem sides as well as the good sides and I decided to do it. I found a place where I will have it done. I found the doctor. I found out if my insurance will cover it. I called the place where I will get it done and they told me that I have to go get a psych evaluation and some blood work. I got the paperwork all ready and for some reason it's just sitting here in my room. I think about it every day and I think about the lap band daily but yet I haven't seen a doctor yet. What is wrong with me? I'm not afraid of surgery. I'm not afraid of the possible problems. I am not afraid of the liquid diet. I'm not really afraid of dieing. I'm worried that I'm afraid of the change. I don't like being fat and tired but I don't think I will look that great with loose skin everywhere. I know that I need the band. I know I can die of heart disease. I knwo I can become diebetic. I know that being fat is very very bad for me. I need support in getting my fat booty off the chair and going to the doctor for my blood work. BTW - I love this board! Maggie
  25. 1. Bread 2. Mayo 3. Milk 4. Bananas 5. Tomatoes 6. Granola 7. Plums 8. Carrots 9. Apples 10. Rice (would make a fire and cook it that way) I think that in order to keep a healthy body it would be best to bring foods that offer most nutrition. Now, the 10 men I'd bring with me on a secluded island. 1. George Clooney 2. Vince Vaughn 3. Vince Diesel 4. Owen Wilson 5. Jake Gyllenhaal 6. Brad Pitt 7. Matthew McConaughey 8. Hayden Christensen 9. My sweetie 10. And ofcourse my son!!!
