That sex subject again...

I posted a thread a week or more ago about losing my sex drive completely since losing weight. It was suggsted I visit my Dr and have some tests run...well I just wanted to let te people know who ar ein the same position as me that I went off the pill at my Drs suggestion till we ran some tests as I was on a very strong pill for heavy bleeding. She thought that since I was so much bigger when I started on it that I didnt have as many side effects but now that I have lost weight I am getting more of the side effects more pronounced.

Results:

IT WAS THE PILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know if hearing her say that or my mind playing games on me but since I went off and found out it was the pill my sex drive is back and BAD!!!! Only thing is now I have to use alternate measures such as those yucky raincoat thingys....but anyway I just wanted to let others know if you are on the pill and have lost alot of weight make sure that dosage of pill is still appropriate for you and that you arent experiencing bad side effects that you dont need to...either go for a lower dose pill or find alternate protection.

Look out Heathergurl here I come :)

That's great, Kellie! I'm sure your SO will be thrilled! :)

Your point is very well taken, though. Significant weight loss changes more than just our physical size, and anyone on regular medication should have the dosage checked and monitored. In addition, anyone using a diaphragm for birth control should get re-sized after each 20 or 30 lbs lost, since our internal dimensions change as well.

YaYYYY Kel! (and YaYYY Paul hehe). That's fantastic news :)

I was having the same issue when you posted that thread, but since going on the Zoloft, my sex drive seems to have increased ten fold *shrugs* .. guess I'm in the 1% that it actually does that for lol, but I'm not complaining.

I dont know if Im in the same boat or not. I was on the pill for the longest time and experienced mild side effects....nothing that a good ummmm how do you say it delicately......ummm a tad of um KY wouldnt help. Okay there, enuff said about that. But since I have been off the pill...HOLY TOLEDO..I dont know if its because I haven't been with a man since I left my husband....or if its because of going off the pill, or if its because I am now 33 ("they" say women peek in their 30's)...But holy hell, the drive is unreal!!! I feel sooo sorry in some ways for the next guy Im with cause I am gonna tear him up!!!!!!! I can sooo see that old Billy Idol video Craddle of Love with tha sexy chick terrorizing that geeky guy who was hiding from her in the kitchen...thats gonna be me.... :)

Does not being able to have sex but being really horny make u guys sad?

I can't explain it but I have this super high sex drive and noone to do it with and after so long it is starting to get to me... I feel depressed about it even.

BOB doesn't have to be a secret. Have your husband control BOB. :)
